Good, that item was broken as fuck.
-edit- Talking about Priscilla’s.
I’m sad about dominion, every one of my builds was predicated on it. What now? AtMallet just doesn’t have the same ring to it :-(

Bullet Time attack damage ratio increased to .45 from .4
Gosh I see they’re totally serious about bringing these lesser used AD carries up to a competitive level of power.
Great, there goes my Irelia build. -_-
I will believe it when I see it.
Also, they knocked .1 off of Sion’s ratios for Cryptic Gaze and shield.
Man, I have no idea what to do with the masteries… Seems like you can do a lot more useful things now without going full 21 in any tree.
.1 to Sion’s shit won’t make a difference in solo queue, and MF’s problems weren’t limited to just her lackluster ultimate, so I give these patch notes a resounding “meh”.

I think this falls under their statement of not wanting to drastically affect characters prior to a tournament.
The problem with that, though, is if it makes it less likely that they get proper adjustment after the tournament. I think there is a natural (though wrong) tendency to not want to buff someone “too much,” even though it may be necessary because each buff was far less than what was needed. So in some ways, doing the half-assed buff might do more harm than good in terms of getting those characters to some state of equality at the end of the day.
What lazy design, to just remove Priscilla’s instead of tuning it. single track upgrade options are boring.

I think my favorite are the Tristana changes. Those are sure to get people playing her again.

Have you heard the one about the Innvervating Locket?
Also Fizz patch champ spotlight is up. I already hate him.

.2 AP off of Sion’s combo is actually quite a big deal, especially considering his full combo before was 2.0. That’s a 10% reduction in damage, not counting base obviously, which is a pretty sizeable reduction in someone who’s combo was sketchy enough to begin with.
Again, though, in a solo-queue situation it’s more likely that Sion will either totally fizzle or stomp face. In either case, .1 is not going to make a difference.
His earlygame is very strong against shitty players, too.

I don’t know, last time they tried something like this with Sion they had to buff it back up because it made him unusable iirc.

I never feared an AP Sion after realizing how easy it was to just take the shield down.
Also… Kassadin HUGE buff LOLWUT. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen +20/+15/+10/+5/+0 added onto a spell. Adding 20 damage to Rank 1 is fucking huge.
Also, the Akali changes are just wrong. She needed a higher cooldown on her ult, and a couple of seconds extra for the charges to build up. You don’t get rid of the spell vamp because that’s what keeps her alive against GOOD players (the players that will put down a pink ward and finish her, or use skillshots). It’s the stupid short spammable ultimate that you nerf, and that will bring down how much health she vamps in a fight. It also means that she has a bit more of a period where she isn’t at full strength (3 charges). That is what I would have done to Akali. Make bad Akali players get punished for using her ult without having extra charges, and have to give chase intelligently instead of just facerolling R the whole time.

I’m now 3-6 in my ranked qualifying and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Every game I’m one of the three better players on my team. I’ve only had one leaver on either team in any of the games and we still won 4v5. I often get 2nd or 3rd pick and 1st usually calls mid or top so there isn’t always that much room to try to hyper-carry my team to victory.
Last game I had 3rd pick and took Udyr after 1st pick chose Brand and 2nd pick called top and chose Yi (but later went bottom after 4th pick called Nasus top). I was having a pretty great game - ganked bottom once and mid twice and beat up the enemy jungle Nocturne a bit - but bottom (Yi and Morgana) was failing hard and mid wasn’t doing that great either. I advised bottom to play defensively and wait for my ganks, but of course they just kept feeding Ashe. On one of my first ganks there, we killed Ashe and got Rammus fairly low on life. I chased him just inside of tower range and then gave up (because it’s Rammus). Yi and Morgana full on dived and both got killed by Rammus/the tower. At this point do I need to mostly abandon the top half of the jungle and just babysit bottom? Mid kept dying to Anivia and I needed to cover for him a lot as well, which was a problem. And Nasus top was actually good about getting enemy Rumble low on life and in a gankable position, so how do I pass that up? Enemy Ashe finished 20/3/3 and Ally Morg and Yi finished 1/21/x between the two of them.
In another game I was Morgana mid and bottom was failing (I’m sensing a pattern here) and I don’t think we had a jungler. Mid was about even, so I didn’t have a lot of time to babysit bottom, but do I need to go out of my way to try to? Maybe I need to be buying wards for them if they’re too stupid to buy them for themselves?
I guess I’m just trying to figure out if there’s anything I can do when the rest of my team is completely failing and refuses to play defensively. Maybe Morgana is a bad pick when you can’t count on the game not falling apart early since she lacks early burst and can’t really expect to put heavy pressure on until level 6?

In my one game as Udyr, jungle xp with no masteries seemed fantastic. But I also had to cover mid a couple times, so it isn’t perfect data.
