I was happy to see that ranked (and maybe normal drafts?) have 3 bans per side now.

I’ve had some good success so far with a new trundle mastery setup where I take the extra starting gold so that I can start with a vamp scepter and a health pot. This lets me stay at much higher health early and I’ve been going blue->wolves->enemy wraiths for first blood as I catch their jungler with much less health than me.

The new masteries make an enormous change for junglers, it’s like playing an entirely new game :)

What are you using to jungle? I’ve been putting about half each in offense and defense.

It really depends on the jungler, but I’ve been having a lot of success with 9/21/0. Seems like an obvious choice for slow tanky jungles.

The more fun part has been trying to figure out the weird ones like Noct, Udyr and stuff. Haven’t decided anything about them yet (although 9/10/11 looks like it could be decent).

Seems like there’s a lot of way to do it now. The lifesteal you can get with more points in the Offensive tree seems useful as well.

Random question: is there anyone here who purchased Demigod, who’d like to go back and see what it’s like? When it launched I had burnt out on DOTA a few months previous and the handful of matches I played didn’t really give me a good idea of the differences.

Recently, people have been chatting about Demigod in other threads and with DOTA2 looming on the horizon my interest is piqued. I want to go back for some games and see what Demigod is actually like.

Yeah I pretty much stopped playing because of the lag I got at peak times.

I don’t mind the 125ms I get on average on the US, but the 200+ I get on EU is just essentially unplayable unless I’m Cho’Gath.

I was jungle Xin two games in a row last night and uhhh… I fully expected to lose both of them.

Our kat started feeding on their mid, and then she jumped into 1v5 battles just for lulz. I could tell she was a damn good player, so seeing her do that made it obvious that she was just fucking around. She actually got the whole team down to 10%-30% health, but she did it at times when we couldn’t go mop up.

The second game someone chose jungle malphite at the last second, the same last second that I chose jungle Xin… so I went bot with Riven and counter-jungled a bit with smite. It actually worked out, even though I played like shit.

I miss playing Xin sometimes, but he’s so god damn easy to kite.

What is that one for? It looks like someone is trying to compare how many people are at each Elo step, but it the presentation is clearly biased since the 1200 level is shown as “100% of the people I picked are above 1200 Elo.”
