Yeah, I agree, though it will make it a bit scarier at the beginning

You generally start W on WW at the beginning anyway?

Yeah, I do jungle, and that part won’t be affected I agree. It’s just going to be a hit because post-six his ability to surprise the hell out of people in one-on-ones by just sitting there regenning will be reduced.

I don’t start W even in jungle, I max Q. I’m sure it’s not optimal, but I don’t have the level/runes for the fast damage route without getting bled down, and the Q gives me the ability to hang in there longer with a cloth armor and couple of potions.

yeah, of course, but I mean level 2. I like having the extra health so I can run a sword and 1 health pot instead of armor and 5.

Wooo! Buff to Ryze, who I’m already dominating low-tier games with.

Overload base damage increased to 40/65/90/115/140 from 30/55/80/105/130

It’s only 10 damage, but that’s actually going to help my early-game a good bit.

Mockup/Proposal for a new item shop : http://pifro.net/projects/itemshop/v3.php

My favorite dumb meme in a while.

That item shop mockup is awesome.

The ability to build your own item quicklist would be amazing.

Here’s the thread on the official forums : http://www.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=926212

Some Riot devs posted there saying how much they liked it so it might really be implemented. (Seeing all the job postings they have, they’ll probably just hire the guy)

I guarantee you that you’ll still be able to do this fine.

The generally accepted skill order for WW is: W,Q,Q,E,Q,R : R>Q>E>W (except only skill E to 3, max W then finish maxing E).

This is because E double’s in range between rank 1 and 3 but the benefit of ranks 4 and 5 are not nearly as good, plus W starts to get really strong once people have items.

And they reverted the ward changes because a couple champs no longer had some bullshit method of escaping a situation. GG Riot, you sackless bunch of vaginas.

Swain’s laning just got fucking nerfed huge. Now he’s going to have a mediocre 6-12 game, thanks Riot, thanks.

Oh and I guess Tibbers is just fine considering he can fucking 1v1 anyone in the god damn game the first time he comes out.

This.

What has been working well for me is to use exhaust on Xin and other melee champs as they come at me. That tends to eliminate several million points of damage. I am still looking for a basic fix against Tryndamere’s ultimate, which seems to always be up and gives him invulnerability for a longer period of time than most champs can survive focus fire.

Would an ignite or similar effect during his invulnerable period cut his healing in half if timed correctly?

I thought it was resetting the auto-attack, but Pogo and maybe someone else had tried to convince me otherwise. Maybe now I can wait slightly longer to get Rylai’s.

Yes, Ignite will reduce the amount he can heal himself by. Typically counter is to Exhaust or Ignite him once he ults and he tends to die pretty hard the second the ult ends.

I’ve had good results throwing ignite on Trynd about halfway through his ult. If he’s running away and you can get one last parting shot so that he’s at zero health when the ult is about to expire the ignite is almost always enough to finish him off. If you’re playing a champ with a DoT like Swain, Malz, or even Morde, pairing it up with the ignite for even more kill insurance never hurts.

All that being said, if it’s 50 minutes into the game and Tryndamere is stupidly feed, he will probably be able to lifesteal enough to survive the ignite/DoTs.

The problem isn’t the life steal. I mean, yes, it’s a factor (as is his Q active, which switches the extra damage stacks for health). His ult gives him increased crit chance as his health decreases. At the death threshold, ulting, he is invincible and has max crit chance. And probably some crit damage runes/masteries. And probably some attack speed. That stacks rather nicely with the other effects of his ult; he gets extra damage stacks and he gets to free cast his abilities. So he’s attacking faster, harder, and criting. It’s an ugly burst combo.

Most of the damage is attack damage, though. That’s why exhaust is so effective on him, because it has a much more profound effect (70% reduction) on attack damage. Then it’s just a matter of waiting for the ult to wear off and finishing him. I always carry improved exhaust when I take exhaust, so I’ve got an extra half second duration. Even on the ball I’m probably a second behind Trynd’s activation when applying it. But you still soak up the bulk of his burst.

Ignite will cut his healing in half, but he probably won’t consume any healing in that situation, he’s going to wait until his ult is over (5 seconds) before he uses his heal.

He is still CCable. While his ult removes CC, he can be slowed or stunned afterward. If you or your teammates cannot kite or CC him, then exhausting him during his Bloodlust can be necessary.

Shadow Dance does not reset an auto attack target, but to use it correctly required that you right-click on the champion either before or during your Shadow Dance so that you were guaranteed to hit the right target.

I run longsword and health pot, and max Q over W so I can gank effectively. W is the last skill I max. I don’t think this will have a big effect on my jungle path/health, as my jungle route tends to keep me at about full health the whole way through the jungle, with the exception of red buff, where I go down to maybe 60% (and that health pot I save for red takes care of that, no problem.)

It will make some minor changes to lanewick, though - not enough to really hurt him significantly, as it’s 50 less healing at Q=5, until targets get above 1375 HP - then it’s 16% of max health healed instead of 20%, so on a 2000 HP target it’s 80 less HP than the last patch.
