Well, when their Amumu overextends and the rest of their team is kind of far behind, you might as well punt Amumu back further towards us. If we could kill him, the teamfight would be reset and they would be without a tank.

There was also an opportunity in the bot tower tri-bush which we had warded and would have been 4v2. That’s the type of situation where you want to flash+Q+W with Alistar to get one of them singled out (it was Xin and Trundle).

Top gank failed because of a warded bush, Cindex should have moved into their top tower tri-bush and come around between the creeps through the bushes to gank, not straight up the river.

Someone should have bought Aegis. Jungler doesn’t really buy it unless it’s a pure tank like Amumu or Jarvan, not Olaf. That was Alistar’s priority.

edit: Though I’m kinda forgetting that we had a Kat who started with Bilgewater Cutlass as her first rushed item…

He’s always been good in the jungle. That was never the issue, his problems were his scaling and usefulness past early game.

From my experimenting he has a rough start but once you hit level 3 you can jungle fairly effortlessly. Need to figure out the best starting setup for him.

Looking at his setup, probably same as Trundle. Long Sword + pot or Vamp, start little wolves clear all small camps, buy armor + pot, clear blue all small camps and then red.

100% win ratio with a 6:1 KDR in ranked playing Jarvan, bitches!

…that’s still impressive when it’s only two games, right?

hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

He could just turn up the fan speed via software. Both nVidia and ATI have easily usable tuning software for that purpose.

Jarvan OP, needs nerf.

Elo heaven indeed.

Pretty sure the sensible thing at this point is to retire from ranked. Not that I’ll do the sensible thing.

It’s never better than just cleaning your computer.

So, how AP Alistar after the patch? Anyone tried him?

Been playing with Maokai and he is pretty fun. Still learning how to properly place the Ultimate but the E+W+Q combo+ignite melts the enemy carries.

Still need to learn how to properly play Rumble … i just can’t harass well with him, which seems to be what he is good at. Not sure how the Q nerf has affected him either.

Score 1 for the free to play model. I picked up the retail pack today, partially for the champions (it looked like the best deal to get some champion variety) and partially cause I thinks these guys deserve a few bucks for making such a cool game.

If I had to buy it outright I doubt I would ever have played LoL. Since they gave it to me I ended up spending money I likely would not have. Very clever this free to play thingy.

I find that a boots+potions start with Rumble (or anyone, really, but Rumble in particular) makes good harass a lot easier.

I did exactly the same. Well worth it. There is another champion bundle that is a good price that you can buy directly from the game client.

Not that I did that. Not that I turned a “free game” into a $40 game essentially.

Though seriously, I’ve gotten more out of my $40 or so from League of Legends than almost any other game.

My problem is not with my move speed but it just seems to not do much damage and my lane opponent just kind of ignores it and harasses me instead :s

And yes, i’m on the Danger Zone.

I’ll just keep at it and figure it out.

I’ll show you what to do if you like?

The boxed copy is superior to that bundle… you get about as many champions but you also get $10 worth of Riot points that you can spend on more champions/skins/boosts, all for 20 bucks.

I do wish there was a kinda single player/practice mode, where both your teamates and opponents are all bots. It would be nice to have a mode where I can practice with different characters on my own.

Like the custom mode?

You can actually buy that from the riot store with RP.
(Yo dawg, I heard you like buying RP, so I put RP in your RP store so you can earn while you spend.)

Can you set up a 1 player v bots in custom? It looked to me like you had to have at least 1 live opponent.
