Yeah, Manamune is pretty much the core item for Yorick. He desperately needs the mana regen and has no AP ratios which about discounts everything else with mana regen. After that you can make a case for pretty much any other tank/ad build. Atma’s might be something you’d get after a Frozen Mallet though, not before.

I played two games cause some other Qt3rs were playing. :P It’s funny, even after just playing a few dozen games of LoL and going a few weeks without playing HoN, it feels so weird to play HoN again.

The game’s so much faster, and last hitting is brutally different… heh.

I think I’ll stick to improving at League of Legends, for sure. It’s a game I can play with my Qt3 buddies! :)

Yeah that’s the conventional thinking but I found getting Atma’s first worked best. Also this way once you have that and manamune every mana or health upgrade you buy is also a damage upgrade, so even building in parts helps.

At 2k hp Atma’s adds 40 damage. With the armor alone that makes it a pretty good investment.

I dunno. He seems like a frozen mallet champ to me. That an Atmas gives you a good chunk of AD for your abilities. W helps you close the gap but after that you need red buff or mallet.

Still not sure if his ghouls’ auto attacks do magic or physical damage. The instant damage from his E and W are magic but the ghouls… not sure. Then again the ghoul attacks seem to do pathetic damage, but it does add up during the course of a laning phase.

Lovin’ my Sivir! Definitely haven’t gotten the hang of finishing off dudes, but I do enjoy demolishing those towers. :) Plus I can finally stay alive in a lane for more than a minute or two. So I got that going for me, which is nice.

Next stop Aceville !

Wow, my first super shitty game. I’m currently laning with a morgana who is diliberetly castin gslow on me to steal kills. It’s times like these I wish there was no penaltly for ditching matches.

Sorry, what? Morgana doesn’t have a slow. Morgana can’t cast anything on her allies except Black Shield.

What? You can’t cast a slow on your own teammates.

Really…looked like she was casting some sort of rock that came up and created a slow spot…maybe it was the baddie?

Yeah…that sounds like Trundle’s pillar :)

Well, it just seemed to me that I would work a baddie down and then just as I am about to finish em, I’d get hit with that slow and Morgana would swoop in. I’m sure that that player is just “better” at timing the attacks, but I ended up pretty gimped as a result. Every other lane partner I’ve had it has seemed to work out more evenly.

I’m sure it’s just cause I kinda suck, but still, throw a poor guy a bone now and again.

Are Manamune, Tear of the Goddess, and Archangel’s Staff all considered the same passive?

If she’s purposely staying out of the fight to save her nukes for kill stealing, that’s kinda shitty, but if she just happens to show up to the fight in time to get the kills, well she’s as much of a carry as you are so you can’t really blame her.

It’s OK for both you and a lane partner to go for the same last hit. If the first hit doesn’t finish the creep, the second hit will.

The extra mana gained (up to 1000 mana) from Tear of Goddess does NOT stack with Manamune or Archangel’s staff.

The base mana from the ToG item does stack, and the unique passive from Archangel’s would still add AP even if you had a Manamune. The base mana and regen from the Tear of Goddess does stack though.

Mmm, I should have figured as much; otherwise all the Ryze guides would have suggested picking up both Manamune and Tear, heh.

Manamune on Ryze makes no sense to me but whatever. You gain a lot more regen and the ability power still applies to one of his spells, I see no reason to go Manamune.

Maybe it’s for tower attacking since he builds no AP so his tower damage is going to be pathetic.

Well his point was it would make sense if the bonus mana from manamune stacked with archangel’s/tear’s.
