Dodging a crit might be way more important than doing another 3% damage at that point in the game.

I hope at least everyone below 1200 gets bumped back up to 1200. Wouldn’t be fair to have to start lower than someone brand new, especially when the 1000-1400 elo range is such a mixed bag of experienced players who belong in that range and brand new players who are just working their way through one way or the other.

If you’ve managed to work your way down to below 800 then I see no reason why you should be given a free ride back to 1200. Just means you are going to be ruining games all over again.

I don’t agree with this. I somehow ended up at sub 800 and fought my way back up to the 1300s. Having been sub 800 allow me to blow your mind, I played with some better teams and players down there than I did in the 1300 range.

I dunno, it sounds like 1200 Elo is going to be a mess for a while anyway, depending on the details of the reset. And the way the system works now there are new sub-800 Elo players getting dropped into 1200 Elo every day already. I don’t think it’s going to make a huge difference to reset everyone below 1200. And then when people find themselves back below 800 again maybe they’ll realize that they really are bad and that it wasn’t Elo hell.

I’ve found that the games from 1000-1100 Elo are a LOT more competitive than those from 1200-1300.

When you get to like 1140-1300ish its all the people who have barely played ranked and likely barely played the game.

Free Vayne week. I hate Vayne so much. :(

Just had a game where everybody was level 15-20ish except for two 30s on the opposing team. You don’t get to see this ahead of the match, of course, so I ran straight into a Vayne who has runes I don’t even get to buy yet and promptly lose the lane so hard that the game is doomed. Every time I think I’ve developed a tough skin this game finds some new way to humiliate and upset me.

That’s a decent way of putting it, but having level 30, tier 3 armor pen for Marks and Quints is a world of fucking hurt for a level 15.
