I’m certainly not saying it was utterly unplayable, but bearing in mind that I have a mishmash of uncoordinated random runes and can’t even reach the bottom of a mastery tree, and that above all else there was zero warning of my zoning range being cut down, I can’t help but feel a little bitter. All the more reason to stop lounging around below 20, I guess.

When I am in a game that is going badly (which is every game for the past 5-days or so) I try to set mysel a personal goal independent of trying to win, for example: last hitting every creep in the next wave, or, trying to stun that particular enemy, or trying out a new build.

At least I can walk away from the game feeling that perhaps I have learned something.

I’m not entirely sure what you mean about zoning range, but, sure, it’s perfectly reasonable to feel annoyed, frustrated, bitter, whatever. It was an unfair matchup, no question, but the primary imbalance was almost certainly experience, and the skills your opponent acquired through that experience.

Of course, runes are a little extra helping of fuck you on top of the imbalance that already existed. Salt in the wound, as it were. And who likes salt in their wounds?

Ahh, another ranked loss. Trying for 7 days in a row. Got first blood as Alistar but our team just didn’t have the dps. Le Blanc went Sorc boots and void staff as first items, which, although I don’t know Le Blanc, sounds like arse. NO ONE bought defense except me, even the Warwick picked his only defence from Madreds. One burst and ult from Lux would kill and maim half the damn team.

(I only play bot games these days. I have yet to beat my ~45 kills as Gangplank in a single game. Clearly this is a good indicator of real-world strength)

Isn’t there a solo ranked for 3vs3 ? I thought it existed. Well, even non-ranked play is better than getting angry over plain wrong group compositions.

About the different heroes, well, I believe that’s not an issue. The only hero you’ll ever need for 3vs3 is Mundo :)

No solo ranked 3v3. If there was I’d be a god thanks to Singed.

There’s plenty of strong and cheap (IP-wise) picks in 3vs3. Singed, Mundo and Nunu are the first coming to my mind.
