Yeah, this. I learned it in WoW after Disc Priest/Frost Mage/Subtle Rogue was nearly unbeatable for a good 3 months in arenas. Those guys last night played those characters knowing what kind of sick combination it was. Yeah, they were experienced, but we’ve played many an experienced team without going 2-45 or whatever the spread was.
Their Nunu thought I was talking about him, when obviously I wasn’t. Thorn can testify to me playing Nunu properly in the lane. It’s been a long time since I let myself get harassed, I know what the concept is. Did it help that I don’t know what Shaco can do until he does it a couple of times first? No, but I can reasonably expect a certain damage output from any champion, and that was way beyond balanced.
As for me shouting it every other game… I talk shit. It’s the internet.

Yeah they do stack 64% cc reduction, and with mundo I can reliably get warmog before 22 minutes.
mundo farm fast since sadism increase his damage by 100 and his cleave does % damage, so he can jungle really easily too.
the good part about mundo is not needing to go back to heal, his lane staying power is incredible, also he push tower faster than other tank due to his E. it’s on 6 second cooldown, but it last 5 seconds. atma does increase his damage, but that’s really not the big damage boost since with Atma I gain about 80 damages after warmog, but at that point I already have 200+ when I press E already. the big damage comes from his W.
You think Shaco is flavour of the month? lol…

Constantly reevaluating what works best for you is definitely a good mindset to have, IMO. 400 games ago I usually opted for the solid regen items because I absolutely did not want to feed, ever, but these days I’m comfortable going with doran’s blade, or items like a health or mana crystal if I want to rush a specific item. Things change over time and I just try to stay out of a rut.
And Shaco may make a bit of a comeback because he’s still good. FOTM is a little overstated though.
What a bad day for solo queue. First game had an Eve who went AFK as soon as the game started. Played a ranked game had a Ryze rage quit half way through, we were holding our own and very much in it despite it being a 4v5, could have won, but our Udyr was melting down all game, flipping out about builds etc, called for a surrender even though tied for towers. We all voted no, so he quit, now 5v3, we lost soon after. Back to Normal, game is tied for kills (we’re actually up one) but we are down two towers, at the 25ish mark someone on my team calls for surrender and the entire team but me votes yes! ARGH!
GOGO!
@forgeforsaken: I’ve played (and still do) lots of team games but I think what separates, say, Team Fortress from Dota-style games (like LoL) is that dying actually helps the enemy team not only because you aren’t present in the game while dead but also because you provide them with extra cash; I think this is the main reason people rage so much at the “feeders”; that said, I’ve seen some huge displays of idiocy lately, I thought things would go better once one gets closer to the level cap but it actually feels worse;
from people who have no idea how much you are helping them get kills (when you play a tank and have 2/3/32 but people say you are a feeder and didn’t help…) to people who rage quit and people who, when you die ONCE, they start shouting in /all SHIT WE HAVE A FEEDER!
Again, I don’t really care too much about the chat trolling, when things start to piss me off I usually reply “pro playing random? go play ranked” because random IS for fun and if people are so pro they can’t stand the sight of a AD Soraka or whatever crazy build you want to try well… sucks to be them.
Baaah that was the old Shaco, what we have now is a pale castrated look-a-like who should just be ashamed of himself.
Also that still can’t get over the epicness of that video :)

I tried a hybrid dps heimer recently - got rod of ages and merc treads first, then went guinsoo’s and nashor’s tooth. I could actually push towers and contribute to team fights with plain old damage instead of just rockets and the occassional grenade that isn’t dodged. Went something like 7/1/9 and nobody on my team complained about my build at all. I’ll bet that would have been different if we had been losing…
Lately whenever I play Heimer I go with this build:
Sorc. Shoes - Abyssal Scepter - Void Staff - Zhonya
(+20 magic pen) + (+70AP + 57 Magic Resist + reduce enemy magic resist by 20) + (+70AP + spell pen. +40% of target’s resist) + (120AP + AP25%)
and usually the game ends but if it goes on for longer you might invest in some defensive items or if you aren’t getting killed even more AP. It gives me loads of magic pen by lowering the enemies’ resistance which makes my turrets, rockets and nades hit like a truck.
Ok I haven’t posted one of these bragging pictures yet but this game was awesome. I’ve had a few better game with Rammus on the kill count (getting at least double) but I was rather happy with this. The highlight of the game was when someone on our team had warded dragon, god bless them, and their Irelia had gone in for it. Anivia pinged and was closest and started heading there, most of us were pretty far out. Next thing I see is their Garen is entering to help their Irelia, so luckily I had taken teleport this game! So I TP to the ward right outside the Dragon entrance and roll in, taunt, ball, ult, just as Anivia shows up and WALLS them in with me and casts her ult on top of us as well. It was awesome.

This is close to my normal build, and I think overall that stacking AP is the best heimer strategy, but I was trying for a more classic heimer role - push towers - rather than the pseudo mage support role, so I tried survivability and dps and turrets and it worked out. I also was able to surprise a few melee dps who charged in, got blinded, stunned, slowed, ignited, and beaten to death with wrenches. Good times.

HotshotGG (Nidalee) vs Phreak (MF) right now. Poor Phreak, what a bad team he is stuck with.
HS is doing a spear build and he’s literally taking off 75% of a health bar every shot.
AP Nidalee is awesome, the spear toss its great sniping people behind the walls when near the turret when they retreat to recall/regenerate HP.

Phreak is gonna rage nerf Nidalee after that. Although letting Singed take top vs Nidalee was just asking to lose.
I started playing Nidalee this week and really enjoy her. The only problem that I’ve run into is that it’s hard to really get going when you’re doing ok at 4/3 but cetain other people on your team have died 11 times. AP seems like it is obviously the better way to go since 5 out of 6 of her skills scale with AP and I think only one does with AD.
Yeah only her Takedown ability while in Cougar mode scales with AD, i have stopped using Nidalee for now since every public game consists on everyone picking carries so i always have to switch to a support or tank champion.

Man, I am getting creamed tonight. I was doing pretty well, and now I’m terrible. Either I’m playing higher rank people, or I’m drinking the wrong kind of whisky.
Edit:
Holy crap, I should find a single player game to play.
What were you going for with your build? I play a lot of morgana, and normally I go for:
- fiendish codex + level 1 boots
- sorc pen boots
- Zona’s
- DFG
- abysal / void staff / meja /etc.
Codex/DFG gives me cooldown, mana, and some AP to spam spells. Zona’s is for pure “I’m gonna hit you in the face.” I sometimes buy survival items if we need them, but it’s not too often.
ROA is nice, but only if you get it in the first 20 minutes or so…
So Nasus, build DPS or tanky?
Also why is it whenever I get a random on my team and it’s a mirror match our team’s version of said character is always terrible? This last game, Garen on both teams, there’s 7/0, ours 0/8, sigh.
