You went Ghostblade with Ashe? I’ve seen a few people do that with ranged champions… you know the active procs on melee attack only right? Or is it bugged like everything else.

yup, I always buy brutalizer early and convert it to youmuu’s when it’s time to push. The proc effect is bugged on the only other champion I buy it for (Xin) so I have no idea if it works for anyone now that you mention it.

Anyone have a good Warwick build? I almost always go Madred’s -> Merc Treads -> Banshee’s Veil but after that I’m not really sure. I usually go Frozen Mallet or Bloodthirster but I never really feel as powerful as I should at that point.

The only item I’d add as a must-have is Malady. WW’s items after that should be situational. If you’re getting focused in team fights, get a GA. If they’re ignoring you, punish them by getting a Frozen Mallet.

When I play Warwick I usually enjoy going Madred -> Sorc Shoes -> Stark’s Fervour -> Black Cleaver. Most games end about the time I get the Cleaver.

Sorc shoes because his ult, Q, and Madred’s all do magic damage. Stark’s is so that people like having you around and with the armor penetration, attack speed, and life steal the only people that can take you 1v1 are massively more fed than you. Black Cleaver because it adds 75 damage and your ult immediately puts full stacks of it on your target because every hit procs it. You can probably also solo Baron after you get to this point.

Malady was modified recently and is no longer the butt of jokes. The magic reduction effect is potent, get it and watch what happens to your damage output once you have madreds and your W maxed.

Malady now adds AP, attack speed, and magic resistance reduction per hit, so it really doesn’t compete with Stark’s so much anymore.

It’s not bad at all for Warwick, but he can’t really do much with AP and I prefer armor penetration and MOAR LIFESTEEEEL on my autoattacks, since the Malady resistance penetration won’t fully kick in until after you’ve already used your ult and q.

I can definitely see why you would get Brutalizer, it’s possibly one of the best items in the game. CD, ArmorP and Damage for like 1G? Yes please.

I just don’t think it’s worth the money upgrading it to Ghostblade. And the proc worked last time I was playing Olaf so I don’t know? I wish Riot would spend a patch just fixing bugs rather then releasing a new champ.

I don’t recommend Starks on WW. Getting tanky is more important - the game is very slanted towards survivability right now. Outlive everyone and you’ll find yourself getting quad kills as you chase low-health champs down (get at least one rank in E early!).

Try this: Madreds, Merc Treads, Malady, Spirit Visage.

SV is awesome mid-game for CD reduction (more Qs), more health and increased survivability thanks to the boost to your passive. I usually sell SV for GA or Frozen Mallet late-game.

I don’t have any builds myself, as I have never played him, but watching some of the best LoL players on streams, they seem to think that making him more tanky with sunfires or some health/armor giving stuff is the way to go. With his lifesteal, then, he is nearly unkillable.

I usually get both, but the Ghost Blade gives you armor pen so it depends upon how the enemy team is building.

Honestly if a game is going good I tend to not make it past Inf edge, zeal, brutalizer.

I generally find I never have time to build anything like IE or PD before the game ends. :( I build youmuu’s because it’s relatively cheap, gives me armor pen, crit and AD with on-demand AS/MS, then I will usually buy pieces for other items after LW. Zeal is almost always good for even more kiteability (saw a bunch of melee champions yesterday), or in this case a BF Sword because we were at a point where killing towers and ending the game was the only goal. I could futz around and build my items, but I’d be letting the other team farm when they are wounded and can’t defend. It’s always a recipe for disaster in my experience.

I’m a really big fan of stacking Doran’s blades with lvl1 boots personally. Get 3 and then head straight to a Best Friend Sword.

Completely agreed with McKnight. Stacking your Doran’s item is great until you can afford a BF sword and build IE. BF and IE are game changers. I love facing Trists and Twitches and such that never get a BF/IE - they pale in comparison to the dmg output from the carries that have BF/IE.
