It’s kind of amusing listening to HSGG rage about 1700+ being Elo hell because winning becomes 80% luck and 20% skill. He dropped something like 150 Elo in 24 hours because he got horrible team after horrible team… it really makes me want to play solo queue (not).

I can see that if, say, the entire team just stood there as Vlad got in range to throw down his circle of blood disease thing ®, but his Sanguine Pool of Emo Goth Persuasion isn’t going to kill anyone unless he’s fed in the early game and everyone on the team was just standing at the tower at 1/3 health.

I don’t feed, also getting insane creep farm(I was lvl 18 when the closest is 16 and annie only had 110 kills), I’m like the perfect late game carry, just watch any HoN tournament stream and you see what I mean.

He used flash, then ult, then pool. I’ve seen my fair share of bad Vlads over the past week but I’ve had a few good ones on my team and gone against a few good ones and when facing the good ones it seems you are pretty much screwed.

Vlad is really ok. The only way he has that sort of impact on a game is if he’s farmed and fed and the other team is underfarmed with their carry somehow dying to Vlad multiple times. He’s just not a threat at all through the bulk of the laning phase unless the other team is playing very poorly.

God, I watched some more of HotshotGG’s stream because it is one of the few ones that is usually up, but man can he rage. Always his teammates fault even when he goes 0-2 at start to the MF he is laning with.

He played from midnight last night until noon today, then went to bed. I have a feeling he’s a bit sleep deprived, among other things.

Still, streams I’d rather watch, as they provide commentary on how to actually play characters, team fight, etc.

He said he was gonna cut that back, but I guess once a rager always a rager. Some of the other people that stream on CLG are more entertaining. One night there was one guy playing Gragas and he took a drink of rum and coke every time he used the booze ability. That being said, I do feel like Hotshot actually takes more time to explain stuff than any of the other top level players I’ve watched.

While I’ve pretty much given up playing, I really enjoy watching Roku’s livestream. He provides good commentary and a nice soundtrack to boot.

Boxer Blitz is kind of like Astronaut Teemo. Sure, the champions are horrible but there’s no excuse for not playing them if you have those skins. You’re basically the definition of awesome.

Doublelift is an amazing high level Blitz player. Watching him play Blitz made me realize that in expert hands Blitz is quite a good champ to have on your side.

So if you are going to name yourself after a character, I don’t know, maybe you should be good with them? Played with one that went 3/11 while the same on the other team did much much better.

I don’t disagree some people can play lackluster champs well, but IMO the both of them could use some tweaks to bring them in line. I may be a bit biased about Blitz because I spent RP on him when I was a complete newb and thought the rocket arm was the coolest thing ever. Worst decision ever! (related to LoL anyhow…)

Hah, the opposite happened in a game with me. Going into the game, my friend was like, “Bah that twisted card guy is never a problem.”, but i was, “Uhm, I dunno about this one, his name is the same as the character, there is a pretty good chance he’ll be good at that guy…” Turns out he was really good. like 15/1/something. Part of it was coordination, he would teleport in the path of fleeing heroes, and then Shen would teleport in to his location, and they’d tag all the wounded heroes.

Also as for Blitz, I like’em, he’s a really dirty ganker around towers, though I bet he’s not as good against vets who know to stay away from the claw, and he’s really terrible at farming.

Is Teemo really considered that awful? My friend totally digs him and does well with him. It’s funny to watch people actually die by a mushroom.
