He’s a tanky, high burst caster who can initiate and chase. I think like a lot of skill shot champs he takes high skill to be effective. I think if he’s buffed or tweaked from where he is, that’ll just make the people who are actually good at him that much better, shrug.

You would think that, but like I said from seeing Doublelift play against guys like HotShot, BigFatjiji, ManyReason, Reginald etc a highly skilled blitz is a massive game changer.

As for Teemo, yeah he’s pretty bad, but better than what he was. The biggest problem is that the one thing he brings to the table that other ranged carries dont (mushrooms) can be handled by wards for the most part. That’s the downside to having so many champs, some of them just don’t bring anything to the table that others don’t do better.

I just watched a high level stream with Blitz, and he looked pretty rad. At one point the other team was baroning, and he went around back and pulled their carry through the brush into his teammates. That killed their dps, and his team arrived in time to mop up the already wounded remnants. I’m sure there are lots of champs that could have turned that fight around just as well, this way just seemed particularly crushing.

Also, I just hit 20! Runes, here I come!

Anyone that believes X champ sucks simply hasn’t seen them played well. Wickd and Roku’s Teemo is amazing. “Game changing” is a good way to describe a well played Blitzcrank.

All of the champions are good, it’s just some are easier to get the hang of and/or have skills that are complementary.

Oh so you’re saying top .5% players can play weak champions and succeed with them with this hilariously poor matchmaking? Well I’m astonished.

There’s no such thing as a “weak” champion.

Of course there is.

OK, I’ll bite. Which champions are weak?

I think the champions are surprisingly well balanced considering how many they are, and the uniqueness of their abilities. That said, perfect balance isn’t really attainable, it shouldn’t be a surprise that some are weaker than others. As long as you’re playing for fun, that shouldn’t stop you from using any champion you like. If you’re not playing for fun, I think you’re doing it wrong.

I always thought Evelyn was a pain to have in the team. However going against junglers she is wonderful. Game last night we gave the jungler a fright in his Golem area and then Evelyn kept them on their toes for the rest of the game. Was great having the mid player be very cautious :)

the mid player sucks, spend 150g and be eve free.

Heroes like Akali or Eve helps a winning team win much faster due to their ability to snowball, but when everyone knows their shit and know what to do and buy wards, makes it to mid to late game, it’s GG for those type of heroes.

For 4 mins or is it 5… Keep spending that gold :) They did suck though :)

Certainly they have sorted out the oracle - now you get a shiny great target over your head :)

150g for a mid player every 5 minutes is a joke, that’s like 7 minion kills especially consider it just reduce your team of 5 useful characters to only 4, not mentioning if Eve doesn’t know middle is warded, it becomes extremely easy to gank stealth heroes because they are so squishy.

Only reason Shaco isn’t as useless as Eve is because his built in flash, allow him to close the distance incredibly fast.

For Ashe that would stop him taking Dorans blade or even having boots. I’m not saying its not important but it will have an affect if the mid player takes responsibility. It also only covers a small area tbf

no one say you have to take it at beginning of the game, lvl 1 gank is easily stopped with ghost/flash/exhaust or just play close to the turret if you are mid.

plus I take doran’s shield over blade on squishy range it’s much better at lvl 1 keep you in lane longer overall compare to blade(mistake new player makes is taking blade then have to force auto attack creeps to regen their health from trading harassment which cause them to push their lane much too fast which results in over-extending = ganked).

Ward’s range is like 1000, it’s basically half the screen if you drop the ward in middle of the middle lane, you can basically cover 3/4 of the lane since your turret can also see invis.

You also have to decide between going back several times or spending more money for several wards at once.
Neither which is very attractive if that BF sword is only 500 gold away…

On Ashe a Shield would be a Waste imho, if i’m going that style of boots i’d pick Boots + 3 health pots any day.

Some characters suit buying the wards and some doesn’t. Ashe is heavily dependant on items so it really does restrict what you can do - but it is vital as you say. That said it would have saved the mid from 2 of the first ganks (the most important imho). Crystal Arrow, Eve out of bushes (stealthed - it matters not if they can see her) Bang - dead :)

it’s that mentality that cause people to make stupid mistakes.

100g away from buy my items, I’m gonna stay in this lane with my 100 hitpoints.

I guess this was posted while I was away? Bromacia! Pretty fun. Love the skins.

Oh, I tried a 4-doran’s blade trist and didn’t really like it. Got Doran’s, then bezerk boots and a blade, then two more blades and then worked on IE. Could have got the BF sword a few minutes earlier if I didn’t mess around with the Doran’s and I can’t help but think that would have been better.

Stacking doran’s is for chumps, and by chumps I mean mcknight.
