Eve is bad. My team fed her hard early game and she was STILL worthless mid/late game when my team finally got wards and oracle. If she can’t get next to you before getting hit, she WILL die quick.
Play with Falkuse, he is getting pretty sweet at it. We just need to take down the oracles as they appear and they then start chasing their tails using money to negate eve.
I do like how Riot interacts and takes ideas from the community. People had been lobbying for Brolaf for a while it seems.
Yea, somebodies got the wrong link. Try this one ;)
Also Doran’s stacking is awesome. That is all.

Speaking of wards, when will my teams start buying them? I’m level 20 now, and I’m shocked whenever anyone but me puts one down. Even when Twitch jumps them from the same spot repeatedly, they never seem to consider it.

Volbard, when you stop solo queueing with 4 other farming carries. :)

As someone who is pretty new to the game, I can give you my perspective on it. When you first start playing, your only two concerns are:
-
How fast can I get my items, because then I will own that person that keeps owning me.
-
Map? What map? Map awareness is pretty much non existent as a new player.
For me, the longer I play, the more value I place on map awareness, and not feeding. It’s important for me to get my items and to not fall behind the level race, but it’s more important for me now to not feed the other team, and to alert my team when one of them is M.I.A.
I’m just starting to get to the point where I can tell when a gank is brewing. The longer I play, the more I rely on the mini-map.
I think I’m going to mess around with a Warmog Sivir build tonight.

When i’m playing i seem to get put up against and with a wide array of players. We’ll play against guys who are brand new, and guys who are level 30. The level 30 guys suck to play against, its a complete mystery as to why their dudes are so buff at level 1, we had a rank 30 beer-chugger champ able to completely fend off two champs in his own lane. I really hate hidden stats and giving bonuses to people who play more. The playing more should have its own benefit of skill increase, its silly to give people stat increases on top of that.
Anyway, from a noob perspective, when i first started playing, i didn’t even know there were stealth detection items, the consumable tab was a mystery as it didn’t show up in the basic build guide for each hero. (which they really need to update, it should have multiple builds to choose from, and some of the builds they currently have i think are just terribad. Being able to customize builds would be awesome as well)
I thought I’d ask a champion question here for those who would know better than I:
I’ve just started playing around with Kennen (and by just started, I mean three games so far). I thought I was slowly picking up the rhythm of playing him and getting the timing of his skills down, when in my most recent game, our Urgot accused me of being useless because I wasn’t running around stunning everyone with Kennen. Now, I know part of Kennen’s appeal is that the marks of the storm eventually can be parlayed into stuns, but unless I’m confused, there isn’t just a straight up stun button for the champion, is there?
Better question, was our Urgot right and my strategy is all wrong or was he just a jerk who doesn’t know everything about every champion (fingers crossed for the latter)?
I’ll let one of the kennan players comment, but based on the fact that he was playing Urgot I wouldn’t put much stock in what he had to say.

The stats aren’t hidden. You can left click any champion and see what stats they have. The only thing it doesn’t show is crit chance.

Yeah, I think you’ve nailed it there.
I get that, but they’re not any newer than I am. 100 games seems like enough time to start figuring out wards. |^)

I began to hate my finger
It won’t let me play game again…
I’ve played thousands of games with about 700 wins (this week marks a full year of playing this game nearly daily) and I can sadly say that wards are not terribly common unless I’m playing ranked or with 1300+ elo folks.
If you’re using wards within your first 100 games, good for you. You’ll likely win more than most. :)

His ult at level 3 can stun the whole team. Provided they’re stupid enough to just stand inside it.
