It’s ok, they plan on bringing a new one out every other week just for you ;)

-edit- Was funnier when forge’s comment wasn’t there :(

There’s always Champions Bloodlines or whatever its called. I installed that a week or so ago but have yet to play it.

HoN 2.0 is due soon.

I could play a bit of that.

Why? It’s going to be the exact same game.

I’ve been feeling like playing a bit of HoN lately.

Thanks Ultrazen for some great games tonight! When you level 30 buggers aren’t around we do really well - 3:0 ;) …I went 20/5/10 with Morde and he rocked face with Ashe and Mundo. In one game the spaceman Temo spent the entire time asking people not to step on his expensive dishes and asking if anyone had seen his spaceship, what a laugh - we joined him and his friend for the third game and cleaned floor again. What fun!

Yah those games were a blast, had a great time tonight. That Teemo was just plain funny, that guy or girl is a hoot.

gotta say, mundo and morde in a lane is a real pain in the butt lol.

Thanks a ton for the awesome games!

Idrisz, on that sivir build what runes do you use?

My guess would be ArmorPen Quints/Reds and then either Mana Regen Yellows/Blues or Dodge Yellows, Flat CDR Blues.

They are your 2 go to carry rune pages.

Yeah, I was mostly curious about the yellows/blues. He’s building manamune which means no goblet to deal with early game mana issues. Though the crystal is no slouch when it comes to mana regen. So I was wondering if he was going for extra mp/5 anywhere.

Our pantheon friend was ridiculous last night, getting massive amounts of kills early, powering up his Sword of the Occult to very high stacks at low levels – opponents whined ceaselessly and threatened to ‘report’ him for cheating. So I sense an oncoming nerf.

Panth is definitely a must ban right now - maybe the only one. I hate playing against kog, gragas, sona, shaco, and mf too, but panth is the top of the list.

On the other end of the spectrum, Ezrael just seems woefully underpowered. Which is a shame as some of his abilities are kind of neat. Of course it probably helps that I played him in a match where we fought 4 tanks and another Ez.

Did Kog get hit with an AS nerf? I just played him again the other day and his default AS felt much slower than I remember.

Turns out the reason his AS was so high to begin with was because of a bug. Instead of adding AS, his skill multiplied it. Or something.

armor pen on sivir, armor pen with mana regen.

I went all armor pen on both red and blue and just yellow mana regen.

It’s not. It’s because you can technically get more dragon kills than tower kills and technically get them earlier. When you’re running a jungler, as they do at high Elo, it’s even more important to control dragon as otherwise their jungler will be all over it.

Some players won’t run mana regen runes, instead sticking with the time-honoured DotA-like tradition of severe mana conservation and conservative early game play. Sivir only needs them and Goblet if she’s keeping Ricochet on, and good Sivirs do not leave Ricochet on. It goes on for pushes, team-fights, tower kills and if you spot the occasional double-last-hit opportunity and are good at playing the bounce-path odds.

She only really needs them, then, for BB and she should be able to recoup the mana she spends on that with clever use of SS. I tend to run them because I have a Nasus build that also works as a generic melee/tank build and because I find them useful when I’m running support/casters i.e. I’m lazy and prefer not to pick up mana regen items for the regen. I have three pages- Ar.Pen, Dodge, MP/5/lvl and Health (I played with the newer Hyfe build but didn’t like it), M.Pen, MP/5/lvl, CDR (Flat) and Health and M.Pen, Dodge, MR/lvl and health (manaless). Those can be subject to change- I change the caster one for Galio and the manaless one for a couple of characters. Those are pretty much the generic pages, the rest is down to how I play and Masteries (masteries are way, way more powerful).

I actually turn it off for tower kills depending where we are in the game as I don’t want to accidentally pickup tower agro for attacking a champion.

Anyone tried Nasus in the jungle in a normal game? I’ve run him through a dozen or so practice games and it seems ok. I don’t go for blue at 1 because he would basically drop dead if someone breathed on him while he’s doing it, but after a level or two it’s fine with my armor pen reds/quints, armor yellows and mp5 blues. From there it’s pretty easy to clear out the jungle very fast with the only limitation being the timer on Q (for last hits). Mana isn’t even an issue after the first blue so you can feed that to your AP carry or support or what have you.

I was reading the Nasus QQ thread the other day and thought this might be a fun alternative to struggling against champions who are superior laners. I mean, sure, Nasus can clear out a lane with one E but you won’t level up your Q at all that way and the odds you’ll lane against someone who isn’t infinitely superior at harass are almost nil. If you jungle your Q is only limited by minion spawns and how patient you are with the Q CD.

Addititionally, with Nasus off the map all early-mid game you can probably get in a fast dragon (and even baron at some point) before they realize what’s happening if you buy an oracles and clear out their wards.

I also like W’s potential for ganking if you’ve got another hard CC in one of the lanes.

Anyway, these are just some random thoughts. Everyone seems dead set on playing him solo while simultaneously whining about every other champion being a better harasser, thus limiting his ability to level Q. Farming up Q in the jungle and then maybe popping out to one of the other lanes to farm mid-game seems like it might work and even make his passive somewhat useful.
