I have started to play with Veigar, and its insane the amount of AP you can get if the game gets too long, i think i had around 800-900 AP and thats without using mejais on a 50 minute game.

this make absolutely makes no sense, you are agreeing with something that’s just opposite of what you said yourself, 3 doran push back someone from getting BF sword much further than manamune by so much it’s not even funny, also people get doran for hp much more so than for the damage allowing you to win early game exchanges with the extra 300 hp, but it’s pointless if other team plays defensively, and your carry just got fucked over with the money could be spending actually buying carry items.
P.S… the moment someone got BF, you should build manamune already, they cost exactly the same unless you plan to save up the 450g at beginning and not buy anything. since 450 contribute to manamune while you need 1850 to buy BF sword.
A-B, yes, revive! And teleport! We have to do it!

We need to do a four man where we only build what the pubbie builds.

Heh, I could see that being epically annoying. I’ve played a match against an MF who had revive and must of had some other lower death time stuff (if there is any), as she would pop up like a weed after dying, to the point of rejoining a team battle after dying first.

Speaking of Revive/Teleport:

More indepth info about what exactly SorakaBot uses(mini-guide!):
2 magic pen reds, 7 armor pen runes(though I believe full armor pen doesn’t hurt),
mp/5 / 18 blues
Flat AP glyphs and quintessences(24 AP total)
Revive/Smite.
1/16/13 with points in mp/sec, buff durations, experience in utility, smite mastery in offense, +60 HP, 2/2 defense mastery, 1/3 Harden Skin, 2/4 Evasion, 3/3 on both armor and magic resistance in defense. And most important, 1/1 in Preservation.
Cloth armor + 5 health pots. QEQW / QWQE.
Jungle Path: Wolves/Wraiths/Wolves camps(in your chosen order) -> die at golem/lizard -> Speed revive and kill blue golem -> kill lizard
Takes 4 minutes to clear the jungle. Takes 5 minutes+ without proper runes. I still believe this rune build can be further refined though.
Madred’s Claw -> Boots of Mobility + Sheen -> Finish Trinity Force -> Finish Madred’s Bloodrazor -> Situational(Guardian Angel / Youmuu’s Ghostblade / etc)
Reasoning: Claw speeds up farming. MS 5 for roaming. Sheen for burst. Trinity for all-round boost and further increase in burst. Bloodrazor vs tanks and high hp/targets.

For a second, with a name like SorakaBot, i thought someone had written a bot that was actually good for LoL, as opposed to the default crap ones. Do any of the DotAs have decent bots?
Also, I’ve noticed that sometimes the masteries / spell benefits don’t seem to work properly, has anyone else noticed that? For example, I have put a point in Ignite so i am supposed to get +10 Ability Power when it is ready to cast, but at game start, I notice it doesn’t show it in the stats.
I think you get that AP when ignite is on cooldown, but i could be wrong.
Wait, what? Intentionally die to golem/lizard?

And then revive fast enough to get there before their health bars refill, I guess?

You gain 400 health after using Revive if you have the mastery point.
They regen inmediately if you leave the area.

You could probably take out the little ones while the big one kills you, and then your death is just a quick trip back to buy an item and get a ton of bonus XP. Sounds like a good system, as long as the other team doesn’t try to counter you.
I had a few bad games in the jungle with WW, and I’m not sure it’s really for me. I should probably try it some more just so that I understand that aspect of the game, but I really prefer laning.

I can’t seem to replicate the progress of a jungling Yi video. I’m going to go ahead and guess that not having a specific mastery and rune setup (I have no runes) is essential to jungling? I.e. I shouldn’t bother attempting it until level 30?

I think for the characters without built in life steal the big thing that helps are flat health quints. If you don’t have those its probably still possible to jungle but you’ll have to be more cautious for a few levels.
Try starting with the small golems and avoid doing blue buff until you’re level 3 maybe? I’ve never jungled Yi, only Amumu, WW, Olaf, Udyr and Eve.

Hrm. Ok I got a rhythm down. Level 10 at 20 minutes, 12 at 23 minutes and I have to start going into the enemy jungle, and level 6 was at about 8 minutes.
Does that seem too slow?
I went for Bloodrazor then berserker greaves, then brutalizer/Youmu’s.
Level 18 in 32 minutes. Of course, we could assume more based on some ganks and getting XP from creeps during tower protection and what not.
Picked up Trynd, man, he is a complex character to play well. There are a lot of split second decisions to make about when to go in, when to get out and in which direction you do all of the above, let alone timing! I’m going to keep trying with him, and saving for the damn runes he really needs, but man, tough character!
