Well obviously I agree that the locket was stupid. But they didn’t nerf Udyr, they changed his Tiger Stance so it doesn’t suck which is pretty much a buff. It just seems weird to nerf Cho when the only time I ever hear anyone mention him is when they say he needs some kind of buff to be useful late game compared to other tanks.
At least Garen might now have to build some damage to murder everyone with his spin.

I might find nerfing Cho to be horseshit if they didn’t buff his rupture.
It’s still not fast enough to catch someone fleeing though.
Per team like all unique item effects.
Also not sure how I feel about this patch, although some of the wording on fixes is hilarious. For instance:
Fixed a bug where viewing another users Champions would display your own Champions instead. This option is now greyed out when viewing another users profile.
… Riot removing something completely doesn’t mean that you’ve “fixed” it, you lazy bastards.
Is it sad that when I saw this
Dragon no longer provides any global experience, but provides more global gold
All I could think of is thank god Express won’t complain when we don’t take it now :)
Sunfire I imagine is unique for team - would be surprised if it was just unique for person. Personally I don’t think you should be able to stack any item
They have rendered Dragon control pretty pointless, and nerfed xp gain across the board. It would seem like they are trying to fix some snowballing issues but at the sacrifice of the competitive game.
Why do people not like Warmogs? If I am picking it up 15 minutes in and can farm like hell (as Morde, one can) what’s not to like? I have heard the cost for the HP gain is sub-optimal but I don’t know of a better way to get enormous piles of HP quickly. I usually max it (as far as I can tell) by level 16, so what’s the big deal?
And I will try making a tutorial video just because I think it would make an interesting project and I have been wanting to learn more video editing malarky.

Get frozen mallet instead!
Why nerf ward times? No one buys them as it is. Also a few buffs in there for characters I don’t think needed it. People going to be shouting about Malz being OP soon.
It depends on the character, but resists > hp above 3k hp (as I understand it). So for certain tanks, it’s better to get armor/mr to 150 than to stack additional hp with warmogs.
Oh god yes. It’s absurd that you can’t do it.
I don’t understand the ward duration changes.
Mastery saving has been improved
* Repseccing your masteries no longer saves an empty mastery page to the server. This means you’ll never accidentally enter the game with no masteries.
* You can now remove saved mastery points individually without having to return all your points.
* When you have unsaved changes in your rune page or mastery page, you will now be prompted to save when navigating away.
Hey, terrific. And yet you still don’t fucking fix the basic issue. Huzzah!
I wonder how bad that solo lane XP nerf is going to be. Depending on what it is running a jungler might be a disadvantage.

From watching Chiffy and Idrisz play Malzahar I think he’s already creeped up decently in power, and with some of the recent changes I think he might be even better. I’ll probably start playing him again now since I was decent with him before.
Nerfing wards sucks… I guess clairvoyance will become the new flash.

I think wards should be automagic like they did with recall scrolls. Just toss it on a cooldown or something, with a max of 3 wards per player. Would make Teemo even weaker though, but it would encourage noobs to use them more. Though i’d much rather they let you customize the buy guide for characters…hell even if you had to do it in game, and even if it didn’t save, it would still be worth it, there is already a decent amount of downtime before minions spawn to set it up.
I understand the nerfing of ward armor, but why change the time on them?
At the very least they need their own item slot. They shouldn’t be vying for the same space as stat raising gear. Come mid/late game I just don’t even have the space for them on some of my builds.

malz is great in creeping and in killing one player, but I was telling chiffy that even if Malz manage to get 1100 AP, he still can’t really carry the entire team by himself, he will do a shit ton of damage if properly supported(W = up to something like 22% of max health pers second if someone standing in the pool) but he drop too fast just like other casters.
I pick Malz just because he is so good at killing one person when we play against chiffy because usually chiffy is the only carry on other team.

Armor is really affective on Morde because it protects both your shield bar and your HP, so you probably get more effective HP from armor and MR items than you do from HP items.
Those mastery changes sound like a step in the right direction, it’s great that I won’t have to totally clear all points before making changes. Some of the nerfs and buffs seem odd to me, but I guess that’s why I’m a noob.

Ditto here, I didn’t feel like Olaf was all that overpowered, but I don’t see him played often, or played by a high skill player.
Pantheon I can understand, I saw him brutalize people early game easy, and elixirs were definitely part of the problem.

Standard builds are 21-9-x. Not all, granted. If you need to switch from one complete type of champion to another - say, carry to tank - you are still going to be re-doing the fucking thing. Going from, e.g., physical carry to caster carry might be far less of a headache (but that will depend on implementation).

What I find with Morde is that building both MR and AR to 150 seems more expensive than building Warmogs, FON and then a single optional armor item (eg thornma, sunfire cape). At this point I can go any direction I chose and keep a ton of survivability. I can mallet, rylais, atoms + another warmog, haunting guise, of course, and so on.
The thing with bulk HP early game is that is protects against both types of damage, if I just get a FON or Wardens, then I am weak to whichever I haven’t bought yet.
If you play Morde I encourage you to try a Warmogs first (after boots 1, at least) and see how you go. I do go FON first if I am facing a magic heavy lane, but otherwise it is Warmogs every time.
