Also Malz is becoming really viable now after all the buffs. He’s the best mid in the game by far for one, and can now do something in teamfights.

Ok, here’s a weird observation but I’ve seen it prove true most of the time. If there is a random pub Xin on your team and they own a skin, they suck. If they are using the default skin they are probably fine, but almost always if they are using a skin, especially the old man one, they are really really bad.

I’m not sure who I was calling out or if you meant MX was calling someone out. Either way after about 3 or 4 times of being matched up solo against Chiffy I didn’t want to play against him or this game any more. I only kept doing so because I do enjoy playing with the rest of you guys.

Learning Amumu now. I’m completely terrible at using his ult effectively, but I think he’ll be a lot of fun once I get it down. Really, I’m fumbling with his whole skillset, but I like the potential a lot. Maybe it’s a little trickier because most of his skills are instant-casts and I don’t get to see the usual cast area circles to show me what my range is.

The first moment of my first game with him, a WW attacked me under a tower and died when I bandaged him, so that was pretty fun.

It’s not just about learning the skillsets, but realizing when some skills really shine, like being able to pull yourself to an enemy that you can’t see but you know is behind a wall, or when to use your ult.

So out of perversity I smurfed a few games last night and tonight.

As bad as I thought people who played in 1000-1200 Elo range were these guys are worse. I’ve seen people do stuff that would make the practice bots blush.

It’s actually kind of funny seeing random shit like 40+ minute games where half the people don’t buy boots, or item builds that make no sense. Also Shen with teleport is like the perfect hero to win at this level, if only because no one has map awareness.
