My friend is not that good, and I know how you guys rage when someone performs subpar. =)
I have played a couple of games with the qt3 folk when by myself, just a matter of the stars aligning and/or waiting around for a slot to open up for a game. I seem to play during the spanish power-hour for some reason, when none of the qt3 people are on, and half the players are speaking spanish. (Or perhaps portuguese? I’ll be honest, I can’t tell)

On the contrary, I don’t mind playing with bad players. Players who won’t listen to advice, now that’s a different story.
Also it only seems like we rage at each other to an outsider, in reality we have all known each other so long that the petty jibs, etc are just common courtesy (Explaining to Ripplez for the first time that I don’t actually think mx is a bad player was possibly one of my funniest mumble moments) ;)

Agreed, Euro Mumble and I am sure US mumble are fairly rage free zones. I hate rage so wouldn’t be playing if people got into rages. Heck I get upset when I think people are raging lol
You shouldn’t be able to end up with the same people after losing a ranked match. I lost a game with a terrible 1-7 Teemo and then lost the next game with the same terrible 1-5 Teemo (even after forbidding him to have a solo lane). After peaking above 1200 my Elo has been dropping like a rock.

Also, I love it when Pogo is hanging out in the channel and playing something singleplayer like Lara Croft and getting pissed off by it. We’ve all been there, but hearing Pogo go “WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT GODDAMN SHIT FUCK!” is pure gold.
To be fair I think people start at 1200? So what you will be getting in people who have been moving around that value (like me :) ) and new to level 30 who may not have a clue. Still in dangerous territory. Pair up with a buddy to give a better chance in the solo queue
I think we just need to stop responding to the other team in chat. Nothing good ever comes of it. Maybe even preemptive ignore.

I don’t even know why they have the all chat function to begin with, nothing good ever seems to come from it. Maybe you can enable it for custom games or something, but it only serves to rage at the other five people.

I like complimenting people on the other team when they stomp me in an especially admirable way, like an Ashe shot from from across the map.
I didn’t know about the /ignore enemy command, which leads me to believe I should look up a list of commands. Thanks for that!
Yeah, I like to complement, or have a joke. E.G, Some guy, after, I don’t know, revenge killing someone on our team said “isn’t that ironic”, and I replied with “like rain on your wedding day?” and he replied “more like getting a free ride when you have already paid”. And so on. Most games I play in are pretty friendly.

The great thing is they don’t know you have done it so they continue there smack talk and noone is listening :)
I believe you can also do /ignore friend to stop hearing your own side (not sure if friend is right!) but that kills what is essentially a team game. I think pings would still work
