FYI, Garen with mob boots, reviere crown and ghost blade actives plus zillian ult = 775 move speed. And that’s without ghost. Literally just doing laps around the enemies (as chiffy farms them).
Hahahaha, Warwick with Madred’s and Wit’s End is hilarious! You start hitting someone and the list of damage numbers flying above their head stretches a couple inches up the screen. Follow that with Stark’s and Black Cleaver for 65 armor pen and you are impossible to itemize against. You also easily hit the 2.5 attack speed cap when you howl.

Noon is usually a good time to get on in Japan for US games. Otherwise, at night you can play with EU guys.
So Caitlyn seems like the worst champ in a while. Can’t see any reasons to take her over any of the other ranged AD carries.

I hate people who refuse to change their builds to suit the team make-up. Had a Vlad who refused to go tank, even though we really needed it, since the only ‘tanks’ we had were Vlad and Garen. We asked him from the beginning to go tanky, I think he was afraid he ‘wouldn’t get any kills’ or something stupid. Which he didn’t anyway, and we lost due to lack of tanks. Also…don’t buy Mejais when your dying left and right.
I don’t have an opinion on Caitlyn yet, fought her once, didn’t see anything really interesting or new about her.
Well with Vlad he’s either tanky or tankier. AP Vlad is pretty damn tanky thanks to his passive.

I was messing around with her and she just doesn’t seem to have a place. OK but not great lane, poor late game, and not much team contribution. Auto-attack has great range but feels both low damage and low attack speed. Her Q is ok but is a shadow of Sivir’s Q. Traps seem pretty pointless as you can only have two of them and they are highly visible to the enemy. The net is an ok escape mechanism but is kind of finicky to use. Ult has a really long cool down for a mediocre single target damage skill that right now is easily interrupted by the target running into fog of war.
I played her a bit, and will probably try again but right now not only do I find her underwhelming in skill set but she was one of the least fun champs I’ve used in a long while.

True, but not as tanky as his Health variant, which is what he should’ve gone for when he is one of the few champs we have who is a tank.
She has probably the best lane presence of all the ranged carries right now. Problem is that she scales even worse then MF does.
You’re going to have to expound on that a bit as I’m having trouble seeing it.
MF, Trist, Sivir all farm faster. Most seem to have better harassment skills too. All she has going for her is the range on her attack.
Between her range and her Q she destroys Trist early on in lane. She can fight a Sivir because of the range advantage but yea it’s a lot harder given that if you use her Q she will most likely see the long animation time and use hers aswell.
MF and her are about even, but I still think MF is a bit broken so :p
It also ate my edit where I said I pretty much agree with everything else you have said. Also the new Black Cleaver is awful and I hate it.

What items did he build? With the right AP items Vlad will easily have more HP than a lot of tank builds. He won’t have the same resistances but if he’s halfway decent with pool he probably won’t die much.
Having a pure tank is less important than having the right CC.

Why is the new Black Cleaver awful?
I think he went Magic Pen boots --> Mejais --> That wand that gives 57 MR as well as AP and then another 860 gold +AP staff. He was really slow at getting money and kept dying.
It gives less damage up front, provides attack speed now which you can get umpteen different ways and the armor reduction is 15 less at max stacks which is pretty huge. All for the same cost as before.
First Sunfire Cape and now BC, Riot continues their trend of not knowing what the fuck they are doing. Something that “video” they released made abundantly clear.
Oh I am, but that doesn’t change what I said or make it any less true.

Good technical designers are hard to find. They have to have a head for numbers and statistics, but also be creative.
I have played against and with Caitlyn a few times and, at least at 27ish, she doesn’t seem to bring much. Those I have chased have ran away successfully, but while they are ok at fleeing they don’t seem to have laid down the pain.
One game was a Caitlyn, a Vlad and the new nurse Akali (or is it Kat?) on each team. Hehe, variety!
