Blitz builds - is triforce a significant component of all typed of builds for blitz? Is AP better than AD?
He’s one of the few champs that can do either AP or AD and it doesn’t significantly change his effectiveness. Either way you always get one of the Sheen things.
Would you get sheen building him Tanky I wonder? I think I want to learn Blitz now.
Yes. Sheen significantly boosts his damage and is worth getting even if he is just a tank. IMHO, Triforce is better then Lich Bane for Blitz. Also, use Armor Pen runes and Manamune
Just as an aside, Blitz/Singed makes an absolutely evil lane.
Should I be going Manamune, Sheen, then filling out as the game dictates? Or is Manamune only for AD/AP builds?

Manamune means Tear of the Goddess, which you want to get as soon as possible because Blitz’s shield is a portion of his maximum mana.

Eh, we were all kinda bumbling around the map, letting them take control. I just thought that last fight was really silly, but I realize I didn’t call out not to go in, that I was running away from their forest, even though it looked like I was chasing someone for a fight.
And yeah, we do tend to get some tougher games because of queuing up as 5 late at night. Who else is playing late at night but a bunch of people who regularly play together in 5v5 matches?

This was after a game where Pogo and I ravaged the enemy team with 12 kills apiece. Sometimes it is nice to be on the other side of the absurd curb-stomping matchmaking. Special thanks goes to JoshV in both games for being our tank and getting focused for some reason. It is a thankless job.
I hate when I’m in mid, it feels like I’m last hitting well, I’m out-harassing the other guy, and it sure doesn’t look like he’s farming well at all, and then I press tab and he’s only like 3 creeps behind me. Happens to me all the time. Guess it’s just hard for me to tell how well the other guy is last hitting.

I love mid, today’s game with lazy, I was midding vs malphite, since I brought mana regen item instead doran’s I only had 483 health at lvl 1 and malphite had like over 800+ with doran’s shield.
I was like damn it when I saw it, but once the actual laning started, I basically totally zone malphite out and score a kill on him around lvl 8.

Harass them when they go in for a last hit, if you feel like they’re out-harassing you, just stand next to the range creeps and watch them rape their HP while you last hit with ease. :)

You leap out of a lane (no need to even stop in a bush) at 1050 speed and people don’t even have time to scream. Such a laugh when ganks across the map are called for.

So ranked solo queue and my team is katarina, jungle nunu, morde, and another ranged ap carry I can’t remember. I had last pick. Is xin zhao the only correct pick? I don’t own him so maybe some other melee ad carry? I picked janna since I thought we could use a support then realized what a terrible pick it was after locking in. The other team barely built any MR and we rolled them, but that’s not the point.

you got 2 tanky character alreadys, kat and nune ult synergy pretty well, should have gone for a range ad or melee ad pick instead.
MF would be a nice pick actually…
Agree, you’re lacking AD. Ranged poke is often super useful in game (especially to take towers!), so you should have some. Ashe/trist/MF are all good picks. One might even consider caitlyn (but I think she still sucks.)
3 ranged carries isn’t too many in the current meta-game? I guess kat is only sort of ranged.
Kat isn’t ranged, she’s a caster carry with short range unless you’re standing just behind a creep wave. Her magic damage just all scales on AD, which leads a lot of people to think she deals physical damage. For like a month after everyone started playing even McKnight and idrisz thought she did physical damage because of that.

Well in my mind you could’ve gone with either a pure tank or any tanky AD h hero with good CC. That team is ridiculously AP heavy and depending upon who your other character was extremely lacking in hard CC.
She’s more of an assassin/counter carry. She’s best in teams with some decent CC and against teams with no CC, Shunpo in, use your ult and if possible Shunpo the fuck back out.
As for the other question, it all depends on your overall team make up and the other teams. Plus there’s a difference between a ranged caster and an AD ranged carry (straight nuke vs sustained DPS).
