So I watched the Karma video and it does look like she can be quite tanky, mostly due to her shield. I’m guessing it’s got a similar health-gain to Sion’s shield as it’s kind of Sion’s shield in reverse. I think we know someone that’s going to love her.
Also I want them to buff Caitlyn. Her and Sivir+ are the only carries I’ve found that I actually enjoy playing- MF, Tristana, Kog, Twitch and Ashe are boring, Corki I’ve just started and Kayle just doesn’t sit well with my style.
Man, reading the last few pages make me feel a bit better since i thought i was the only one having issues with Ripplez back when i used to play with you guys.
Anyway … been feeling an itch to play LoL and finally have some free time again so i’ll probably join up on mumble someday for a game or two.
(Also i’ve missed McKnight’s drunken ramblings and Kirian bitching about his crappy internet connection)
In other news i left the patch downloading the entire day and when i came back just now it’s only 30%. :(
Mine froze while downloading at some point and I needed to restart the client.

I just bought teemo and played him AP and LOVED IT! He is such a fast little bugger. By end game I only had like, 1500 health, but I was so fast and had exhaust + his blind and my tanks protected me quite well.
Renekton feels pretty good now after the latest patch. His healing is still pretty underwhelming though. Now if I can just get more games where I don’t somehow inexplicably end up in a 2v1 lane against characters with great harass, I’ll be able to give a more solid opinion.
Karma seems good but is sort of more complicated than might think at first.
Also Cassiopia shouldn’t be underestimated with her range buff.

People still bitch in almost every game I play with him (Rammus).
I saw the most awesome pro sivir build in a game a couple of weeks ago:
- Meki -> tear -> manamune
Ok, great start.
- Some boots.
- Warmogs
Uh. …ok.
- Warmogs.
Lol wut.
- Atma’s impaler.
The player was bragging on how he could hit 350 damage with that build. With a Best Friend sword he crossed 300 in like the 60th minute.

300 damage on Sivir in a 60 minute game is pretty bad. He could’ve topped 500 easily if he’d stacked Bloodthirsters in that same length of game.
I’m not against Warmogs on Sivir because she can farm it up quicker than anyone else, but if it takes you 60 minutes then you’re doing something wrong.
Rammus was crazy over powered. I played him a lot recently, but I’m glad they fixed that (so I can go back to Warwick).
Note that Manamune, thirster, thirster can yield in the 320-350 range on fully stacked thirsters (not that hard since it’s easy to stack, but it gets harder late game as you aren’t farming any longer) and a modest effort to get some mileage out of manamune stacks. That’s less gold than the wm, wm, atma, + bf sword build, of course (by a long shot, in fact). And your damage will rise steadily as you go.
Also, 300 damage on any carry at 60 minutes is awful if it isn’t accompanied by some combo of:
- Crazy attack speed.
- Extra proc’d damage (like magic damage from wit’s end, malady, or razors).
- Lots of crits.
- Other beneficial effects like armor pen.
The Pro sivir build offered only the atma’s 18% crit chance. Certainly she can ult, but you’re only moving to about 1.5 attack speed once you ult there. A boost, to be sure, but you aren’t really capitalizing on the burst except by trying to stay alive longer. The Teemo build I was using (malady, razors, and typically a black cleaver) is ~200 physical damage but he hits 2.1 times per second. And he does considerable additional damage with the magic damage from Malady, the razors, and his poison.
I hit about 250 around the 30min mark usually. Going Last whisper, Starks, Black Cleaver (or BT depeneding on how game went) with liberal use of red pots.

Yes. They hadn’t been mysteriously destroying their servers on patch days for the past month or two, but the last two weeks are sort of a return to form.
Quoted for sheer irrelevance.
I’ve always loved AP teemo, the amount of map awareness that character can bring is just silly, not to mention that the other team usually starts team fights 20% or more down health if you do a good job keeping shrooms out. Those buggers hurt with a lot of AP.

Sivir’s bounced blades don’t proc alot of things though, so she needs to, more than other ranged carries, go for damage. I make an exception for Bloodrazors, as it means I can directly attack the tank in front and do decent damage to them, and the ricochets hitting the squishies behind the tank don’t proc it, but don’t need to.

you attack the squishies then the bounce will do more damage to tanks.
the bounce damage isn’t affect by armor, it’s actually true damage that can’t be dodge either.
so if your first target have 30 armor, you have 30 armor pen, you will do 100% of your damage to your first target, then 2nd target will always always take 80% of first target’s damage, no matter how much armor or resist the 2nd target have.
I wouldn’t argue that exactly, but it has nothing to do with a double warmogs build eating balls or with the fact that 300 damage for any carry at the 60th minute, with nothing else to compliment the number, is not ideal.
