Great games tonight, I’m starting to get a feel for general play. I’m still not sure about buying items, should I be saving up for the suggested items, or buying the basic equipment for them in the meantime, or something else entirely?

Make sure you buy the components that build into the item as you can. I’ve seen people new to the game not fully grasp this. Maybe they cover it in the tutorial mow though.

They have actually done a rather extensive rework of the tutorial process that is actually rather well done. Played through it all the other day (as a test before I was going to subject a friend to it) and was pretty impressed.

There are plenty of great laners with Blitz. I played Xin with a great Blitz one day (I think it may have been Copet even), and there’s not much anyone can do with TWO popups and quick burst combos, just to get slowed down again with Xin’s charge.

I don’t see how Nasus is better than several other champs when laning with Blitz. Actually his burst damage is fairly pathetic during laning, so I’m gonna put him on the “doesn’t even rate” part of the Blitz Laners scale.

I’d go so far as to say Renekton is a better laner with Blitz as he has his burst/stun attack. The most evil Blitz lane I’ve seen is Blitz/Singed.

Just started playing this game (Lance Hickey), concentrating mostly on Ashe for now. It’s a good game, but the thing that’s killing it for me are the fake newbs. They get into my game, rack up a 30:1 K:D ratio, and trashtalk everyone on their OWN team for not being as good as they are. It’s happened a few times now, and it was old the first time. I’m thinking of quitting, but the game is fun and I don’t want to stop.

We were low levelling for friends and we saw this - players who obviously were high levels pwning newbs, not fun :( The best thing is hop into the US or EU mumble, people on that will help you and as long as you have a few games under your belt that should work fine. Once you get past level 10 it gets better anyway - no point in smurfing at that point.

If your self esteem is so bad, that you get something from intentionally giving yourself an unfair advantage, it’s more sad than anything else.

Why do so many junglers never gank or only gank the duo lane, and they especially never gank the solo lane if the other team doesn’t have a jungler and it’s 2v1 and it’s constantly pushed to your own tower?

Some jungler champs are better at ganking then others. Warwick NEEDS red, or at least level six, and he can’t really towerdive easily because he’s so squishy. Rammus can gank any place anywhere at any time. In fact, you should be careful, because he could easily gank you as you read this post.

Don’t listen to him.
Depending on the lane heroes (if they have a stun or instance) Warwick can easily gank at level three or four.
