What IS suppression?

It’s a new type of CC they invented to avoid some characters ultimate abilities from being useless. Suppression is unaffected by Merc threads (and thus always goes it’s full duration) and cannot be cleansed out of. The only way to remove it as of now is Gangplank’s remove scurvy ability (although it’s still a bit buggy about that) and the active ability on the item “Quicksilver Sash”.

Warwick’s and Malzahar’s Ultimates and something else I’m forgetting are the only cases of it in game right now.

not as in getting pregnant, but skills that send you flying, not reduced by merc thread or cleansable either.

Also, they tend to get canceled if the person doing the suppression is CC’d or knocked about. Like if Trist hit’s Malthazar while he is doing his Ult with her Ult, for example.

suppression isn’t remove by ult, it’s the act of channeling the skill, so yes, any channel skills will get interrupted by stun/silence/knock-up/movement skill.

I failed so hard the first time I tried LeBlanc. I think I went like 7-4 against the new Annie Bot. I just could not get the timing of her abilities down. What’s the best combo? R (mimicking Q), W, Q, E? Then you can proc the Q twice?

Best combo is to w in q then mimic q then e, when e procs your q is back up again. Plus double q does insane damage. Try it.

I would wet myself with excitement if l0l recorded some Corki games. Tried the alternate build last night focusing on mobility boots, BT and then more damage items and in the end kept running out of mana. Shoal d have picked up sheen as well.

Quite like seal after BT. It is cheap enough and the move speed and attack speed bonuses are quite noticeable.

I doubt I could record and play at the same time, I’m sure someone can if im on their team and im playing him. Idk i’ll ask.

Proc originated from MUD, means procedure… or spec_proc for special procedure.

there is a good definition and origin on it on wowwiki.

though my bet is on process instead procedure, or processing a procedure…

I think I read somewhere that Ralph Koster who originally came from MUD background saying it’s spec_proc.

you missed suppression as a CC in League of legend.

I’ll admit that I was using the definition from WowWiki. I realized that I’d never stopped to consider what it meant and my mind couldn’t decide what it was short for so I googled it.

Just listened to that there, always have 3moves ahead on my audio queue. Was pretty happy with everything Tom said about the game, it’s nice to hear people talking about it and especially nice to have someone talking about it who knows what’s what.
