Stupid matchmaking, everytime i get close to having more wins than loses i get matched with an awful team and lose like 10 games in a row :|

To be fair, I think most of the bickering we do is pretty friendly, it just sounds worse when we post on qt3 as we lose any of the context. This is a group that tends to razz each other constantly during games, but there isn’t any real spite to it.
A long time ago. . . a loooooooong time ago, I was over .500. Like 25-19 or something. I then went on some sort of ungodly 1-25 tear.
I’ve spent most of my time since then ~20 games under 500. For awhile I bounced between 10 and 20. Then more recently I was bouncing between 20 and 30. Now I’m hovering around 20. And every time I think I might go on a tear into the mid teems, I get quitters and other such nonsense to deal with.
Yesterday before I did a qt3 game, I was in a game as plank and we were doing well early. Laning with Singed, we picked up 2 kills on the first clash in lane (I got both of them). Super, I’m way out in front. And I had 5 kills by the 15th minute, and I was zooming along. It is then decided that I am public enemy #1, so team fights involving the enemy coming at me hard every time I appear. Sometimes all of them. No problem right? My team can tear them up right? Well, Sona keeps running from fights and is doing a terrible job supporting. Teemo is doing a weird AD/AP hybrid and isn’t doing very well (in fact, he sort of stunk). Singed and I think Morde do their best but between them they have limited CC. But we win more team fights than we lose. And yet I can’t get anyone to push (Singed and Morde sort of try at times). We get one inhib down finally. We expose a second (all towers dead). No push. We win a critical team fight and baron. We’ve got 5 up (but everyone is beat up so we need to heal). Half hearted push where Sona doesn’t come and Teemo runs to another lane (a pretty awful attempt at split pushing). They take an inhib. They expose a second (meanwhile Teemo keeps trying to sneak down and kill the exposed enemy inhib and failing).
But we win a crucial fight in base and have 4 up. We can push now and win. How confident am I? Our top inhib is down, but we’re pushed up all the way to the mid tower top. Middle inhib is exposed but their middle inhib is down and the lane is pushed towards the inhibitor tower rubble. Bottom is pushed close to the same distance, and that is their exposed inhibitor. 5 enemies down.
No push. Even account for the time it takes to get across the map, we had plenty of time to junk the bot inhib and take one or possibly two nexus turrets. I mean, it doesn’t get any better than that.
sigh.
I just downloaded this today, and I’m liking it a lot, with only one gripe so far: If you quit out of a game, you can’t join another until the game you quit is complete. I kinda get the point of this, but it’s stupid for the game to punish me when two people left before me and the other two won’t surrender.
Yea but if they removed that restriction the game would be unplayable.

Chiffy’s team used to always win (because I’d feed Chiffy) so now we are overcompensating a little.

Chiffy almost never wins whenever I play him in 5vs5, because we then compensate by putting people with lower skills on his team, and chiffy usually end up have to play a carry who are typically squishy.
so game usually ends up with us killing chiffy which than give us the win.

Sure, but all those times when we’d play without you and I’d go up against him things didn’t go as well. We also used to try and play more traditionally instead of FOCUS CHIFFY AT THE EXPENSE OF EVERYTHING ELSE, which is a viable strategy when you give him two guys who have been playing for like a month (no offense to them intended).
Shrug, we get lopsided teams sometimes, we get miscommunications about silly mock rulesets sometimes. Only way to fix it is to rebalance teams and not rush into games without everyone being on the same page. It’s not so bad really!

Yeah, Phydeux got multiple shots like that in this game. He hit top lane from bottom a few times, middle from bottom, jungle from middle, you name it. Was crazy.

He brought QSS last night, but didn’t help much with the first game with tinypirate playing jungling rammus.

Best part was the soundtrack. Funny thing is, that’s not uncommon at all, I’ve done cross-map kills multiple times and so has Tals.
Speaking of which, where is he? Haven’t seen him online lately.

Really getting into this, looking at purchasing Singed or another cheap character. Is there any reason I might want to avoid him, or look at another?
I like how corki plays but he’s just too IP expensive.

Singed, like Blitz, just needs some cooperative teammates to play with who will capitalize on a good hook shot.

I dunno, Copet and I got messed up against a solo Singed the other day.
Also there’s a new patch preview up, but its only text this time.
Highlights:

-Ryze remade (into a DPS caster carry something that was proposed a year ago by Shurelia)
I’m most excited about Ryze because he was one of my first really good champions.
