I just started my foray into random ranked games, and I quickly realize that they are just like unranked games . . . full of some pro players and the folks who frustrate them.

(Had a Blitzcrank and Mundo feeding the other team last night, while apologizing for being stoned and playing)

Anyways, the primary change to my Heimerdinger playstyle is the addition of lots and lots of sight wards for the oh so frequent gank attempts.

I’m surprised to be 6/6 so far in ranked games and ranked 1197 - any insight into the ranking system - what’s good, what’s bad? How many games does it take to settle into your ‘real’ ranking?

At least 50, probably closer to 100, because of the nature of the elo system.

I disagree, Draft mode is a far superior way to pick a team for a game then blind pick is.

I’m really loving Malzahar, the AOE abilities are killer if you know how to use them. 200 gold from creeps with 1 spell? Did that multiple times last game. Using call of the void on a retreating champion, slicing em in two as they run away is also satisfying, but if you’re watching easy to avoid. Malefic visions keeps me playing in the mana spool as I spam spells.

Does it return mana even if the killing blow on the creep is done by one of your auto attacks (or someone else’s auto attack)?

We will when you picked that character purely as a Madrads platform to counter the amount of tanks they had! All you had to do, which is what we told you to do when we decided you should play him was build a Madrads and then build a Void Staff… Instead you decide to build a Gunblade and some other shite.

I remember that game, where I picked Kog and then you picked Sivir afterwards and decided that you would take mid and I had to go sidelane. Then even though NO ONE ON THE ENEMY TEAM BUILT ANY HEALTH AT ALL you spend half an hour whining and blaming me for the fact that you got your ass handed to you by Chiffy and couldn’t carry us when you were the solo lane.

Also of note: YOU DIDN’T BUILD MADRED’S EITHER. Ass.
