My only pentakill was old heimer. I came into the battle after my entire team died and they all charged me near a bush, so I dropped my turret, blinded/stunned, and missiled, and they all died :D

When he was released Xin had a couple hundred more base health at level 18, more armor and base damage, the base damage on his Q and R was maybe almost double what it is now, his charge slowed people in a larger radius by somewhere around 60%, and I think his ult did up to 50% of people’s current health in damage. Basically every single number in his stats was higher. It took Riot two weeks to nerf him, and meanwhile everyone was raging about him in every thread on the forums and if there was a Xin on the enemy team in a match but not one on yours you straight up lost.

I’m pretty sure Therlun’s link is after his first patch.

Edit: Haha, I was going to go look at his stats on Leaguecraft, and they still have his ult listed as doing “up to 70% of the target’s current health in damage”.

I don’t remember it being that extreme, but looking at the wiki history the biggest difference seems to be that the charge/dash had a three second cooldown.

I’m pretty much not using Leaguecraft at all anymore. For the past 4 months, I see absolutely false information on so many items and abilities. Why the owners of such a successful site don’t give a shit about being accurate is beyond me, but they’re sure as shit going to lose customers over this mess.

Lazy’s description sounds OP as all hell. 3 second Charge is also ridiculous (that’s like Akali’s ult, with Rylai’s applying slow, except limited by mana instead of charges).

I remember when Xin did that much damage- people just built him tank and he instantly did as much damage as a big AP annie ult landing on you. That was usually all he needed to do to win every teamfight :D

I’m a bit sad about the current IP system - it seems like games give quite a bit less IP than they used to - people are reporting 25 minute losses giving <50 IP and 45 minute wins giving <100. For reference, a loss used to give you about 70 for any game length, and a win ~ 110 for any game length. It would have to be an epic 75 minute game now to have the same IP gain as before.

As someone who was playing this as a “free” game, it seems like they’re cracking down on the free part by limiting the ability to buy new runes/pages/champs without putting out money - now with IP not flowing in, you’ll need all your IP just to buy runes, and have to spend money to get champs…especially if you’re new to the game.

So I don’t think the tree is a tank. I think he’s more of a caster. The problem is he’s been sold as a tank so everyone is expecting him to play that way. He might serve as an off tank but definitely not as the sole tank, at least not from what I’ve seen so far.

Dammit, my boxed copy of LoL just came in and the stores down! On the other hand it was a great delivery speed, I ordered it yesterday and they didn’t think it would get here before monday (even though I went with 2 day shipping).
