And look at how ridiculous his charge was before that patch! I mean it’s possibly one of his best skills even now.
Also Calistas, that’s what I always run on my Ranged Carries and I’ve never been disappointed. The fact that you start with a dorans item anyway means you certainly don’t need the health and it substantially increases your DPS throughout the whole game (you’ll be doing practically true damage at the start). Apart from Arm. Pen the only other Quints I’d even consider running on a ranged carry are Movespeed.
You know, guys, when we are down by 6 towers and the other team has twice as many kills, total map awareness and is basically towerdiving us with impunity… It’s really fucking rude to reject a surrender vote. If you do this, I am going AFK. I have better things to do then beat my head against the wall for another twenty minutes. I’m not blaming anyone for the loss, but trying to turn around a game against a VERY fed game is the opposite of fun.

you already attempt a surrender vote when we only down 2 side towers!!!
right after you attempt and fail the first surrender we almost ace them in the middle. the only reason we lose rest of the tower because therlun went DC in middle tower during a fight and you decide to not play anymore and just afk at fountain which is not cool at all.
it’s really fucking tiresome whenever one of the side lane goes bad someone tries to surrender.
And they had twice the kills as us and half of our teams were playing characters we rarely play. So… you voted no… Guess what happened in the following 10 minutes?

characters you rarely play?
you were playing jax, I was on teemo, therlun on xin.
only people who was playing character they rarely play was angel on rammus and lazy on Ez. I was steamrolling nidalee. I had 100 creep scores she had 43.
the thing is I don’t mind losing, I don’t mind if people playing bad, I just hate surrendering, because it’s crap when people don’t at least try to win.
Yes, that’s what I said.
I rarely play Jax.
Lazy hasn’t played Ez in six months.
Angel rarely plays Rammus.
Just stop, please.

Just stop, please.
hmm? I didn’t come to the forum with a qq post like 5 seconds after the games you left?

I haven’t played heimer in a loooooong time. I solely do Nidalee or Blitz, depending on if I think someone else can carry the team :P
Personally I disagree with surrendering before they have an inhib down. They can always make a mistake or two and your back in the game, never underestimate people’s stupidity.
Once the first inhib goes down though, then it’s worth it to start thinking about surrendering.

the only reason bunny want to quit because he was 2/6 or something.
I was 2/6, and I had the second best score on my team. Again, I am not blaming anyone. But, you are.
And that wasn’t a qq post. That was a ‘stop being a dick’ post.
I look at general team fights and kills- I dont really look at towers(unless you have none killed and they have more than 3 down).
If the enemy team has not made any major mistakes, and is just steadily getting kills, then I will surrender even before an inhibitor is down. Also who has kills, but if you cannot disable them effectively then it is over.
I pull early surrenders more when they have awsome initiation heroes like blitz or rammus, who keep your team open if they are skilled- easy to get to your squishies. But 3:1 team kill:death are pretty much surrender time for me- not exactly easy to recover from unless they mess up, and there isnt much you can do to make that happen.

which they did, we killed 4/5 in middle in a 4 on 5 fight.
again to re-iterate, we only start going downhill for real because bunny decided to afk at fountain and therlun DCed at mid tower during a team fight.
DC can’t be helped, but afk sure can.
P.S.
We just won a game where we are down 2 towers at beginning, we team fight and steamrolled them.
Towers aren’t kills though.
Your not really making much consistent sense here Idrisz. The only way to come back from a 1:2 kill/death ratio for your team is for the others to make a substantial mistake, which if they are competent shouldn’t happen. The game snowballs, that’s just the nature of it and why the surrender option exists.

To be fair, they lost that due to a roaming Malphite who was under-farmed, and we kept the jump on them with map awareness and quick mobilization.
I’m not sure why some teams are putting 3 in mid at level 7-8, before laning phase is even over. Perhaps to deny a carry or something, I dunno.
Games that are going to turn around, usually do so when the other team makes their base push. If they fail a few base pushes, and lose a few team fights there, you can easily get back in the game.
It’s also very dependent on what kind of team makeup you have. Surrendering with a good late game team in mid game is pretty short sighted.
/shrug. Seen so many comebacks that happened after a good base defense round. Quit when you want, but there is a solid reason to stick with it until at least the first full base push.
While I agree with you Ultra, and it’s the reason for my no surrender till inhib rule, as you start playing with more and more skilled players the chances of turning the match around becomes less and less as the likelyhood of them making such a huge mistake that puts you back in the game is far less.
Still happens the odd time though ;)
To wit:
In a game earlier today (solo queu) my team was down 15:31. I can’t even remember who I was playing. I’m pretty sure Sivir. The thing is, we were in a pretty bizzare situation. At close to 30 minutes there was still actual laning going on and towers were even (2-2 I think). Someone on our team called for a surrender and complained when 3 people voted no. I pointed out my threshold for a surrender was one team fight, which we hadn’t actually had. Fights tended to be minor/major skirmishes with various champions scattered this way or that. We had grouped up twice but never stayed grouped up. And we kept going in at bad times; 2v3 and stuff like that.
So we had a team fight and rolled their asses, something like 1-4. 10 minutes (give or take) and two more team fights later and we won. We actually took the middle inhib after that first fight, and would have won a bit earlier but after the second people had it in their heads to go push the side lanes.
