I vote no not by default but because we still have chance of winning.

I refuse to vote yes to a surrender on a game that can still be won.

People should just play exclusively with chiffy(cause he is that good) if all they want to do is play 25 minutes game where they wtfpwned the other side. that’s call getting carried. playing a mix level range with new people and lvl 30 is asking for a 50% loss because you never know what you going to end up with. Oh yeah, you can always smurf it up, which will also net you easy wins.

I’d agree, although still played a lot of games where we’ve lost the inhibitor, been down on kills and still come back. It’s a lost game imho as soon as people start talking the game as lost. Not one many when people have started talking the game down but won loads in the same position but where the team has remained positive.

Lulz, typical. They sent a notification saying they’d go down at 2:15am PST for 7 hours of maintenance. But I’ve never ever see maintenance take as long as the claimed it would, it always goes longer.

Weird. I played like 12 games this weekend, and out of 108 people I didn’t see even one.

Trynd, on the other hand… hoooo boy.

Also also: I never really understood the term “carry” because I started by playing the mumble group exclusively, and in that group I’m basically a barely functioning noob to be tolerated. Playing randoms, where I’m “average” for my level, I’ve been doing better, but I’ve played mostly Annie and Maokai.

So yesterday I played Trynd in a pubby for the first time.

I get what a carry is now. Jesus fucking Christ. That guy is a giant ball of angry DEATH late game.

Multiple non-mids characters fighting for mid is a good one. Blitz and Sona in one game for me.

Blitz solo sucks, I’ll be the first to admit it. I only do it because it is fun, and if you DO do well, which you really shouldn’t, then you are quite strong. Ideally, blitz should get first blood laning with a partner and then wander around ganking over and over :)

Just had a 45 minute game of being ganked (12/35 or something) into a 55 minute game win. I think things turned around when I got Madreds and our shitty Nunu finally built some tank. Madreds, unless I’m mistaken, eats health-stacking cho for breakfast, even if he puts on chainmail [duh, it’s magic resist he needs]. I’m not sure… especially of the maths… but things did start to go bad for their Sion and Cho once I, as MF, (finally) got Madreds. Is it that good?

Oh, but my drop reason was before the game even started! Saw the queue and went ‘nah’.

Personally, unless they have a HUGELY tanky team, I wouldn’t do Madreds on MF. Her skills scale with damage. If you want a ranged madred’s character, Trist is best.

Well, I didn’t have much choice. Their Sion and Cho were messing our team up bad. Cho had stacked Warmogs (had three by the time I go my shit together) and hadn’t picked up any resit items. As the only phys dps on the team, I kind of had to do something and my IE + BF wasn’t cutting it.

I’m sure ya made the right decision! Just saying that USUALLY, it isn’t a great item for her. I like playing with people who can change their builds to help the team :) Lots of people stick to a build regardless of the other team’s heroes/items.

Yeah, like our Nunu. He built Rod of Ages (slowly) and didn’t have any tank until mid game. Arg.

I am curious on the maths of Madreds. I seldom get it so now I am trying to work out the tipping point where I need to rush one asap compared to continuing down the damage route.

Also, on the subject of losing…I duo-queued with my bud last night on the US server, and we wound up playing an ashe/nasus lane (probably not very smart, but the team needed a tank and an AD carry, so there you are.) We laned against sion/taric, possibly the most powerful, annoying, OP lane combo in the game. Stun/Stun/Burst/Burst.

My lane partner got caught a few times, even at tower range, as it was easy to dive. 20 minutes in, he’s 0/7, and just got his BF sword and boots (ie: life is BAD.) He’s miserable and panicing (“why didn’t I go mid? Side laning ashe is crap. This lane is crap!”). However, the other lanes are holding their own, my siphon is getting strong, and the game isn’t over. We come to discover that if I build MR and walk out, they blow all their burst on me, and I life steal it back. More, once sion/taric burst once in a team fight, they might as well be minions for all the damage they do.

We wind up acing them, making a big push, grabbing baron (Nasus style!), and win the game. My friend wanted to surrender, but games can turn, and sometimes, just sometimes, you get a bad lane, and you’re the loser/feeder, and you get carried. It happens. Do what you can to help the team, and at least realize that if they aren’t stacking, your later deaths aren’t worth very much…:)

The true moral of the story is that laning is not a for sure indication of how the rest of the game will go. As Mf in a game recently, I got tower dove twice and had 3 deaths early in lane. My partner was oddly aggressive and died 4 times. Things changed once we got to team fighting, however.

I want someone to do up that Nasus/Blitz bros for life drawing but as Sion/Renekton. Man I have a lot of success with Sion in my lane when playing Renekton. Two of this morning forced an Ash and Urgot to relane giving us a Vlad and Swain who we also kicked the crap out of, though not quite as badly.
