But the extra cannons don’t come out until 20 minutes. The denial isn’t as big of a factor at this point IMO.

he can turn back around and punish them if they extend too far out again.
you mean ww can stay around and get punish by people right? because he heal so fast.
Ah I completely missed that, my bad :)

I remember reading somewhere that they were going to change Gangplank’s third power, did they reverse that decision? Or is it still in the works?

Seems like a decision based on a bunch of noobs QQing. His creep denial doesn’t win him the lane by a long shot.
At level 2-4 he’s able to heal a chunk of his HP back a whole lot faster than most champions. Its all situational though.
Also were you advocating jungling Irelia or Xin over WW?
Love the comment in that jungling thread about Teemo being “the constant in the equation of LoL failures.”
I didn’t see it either at first (the first mention in the thread was just “more cannon creeps” I think).
I am kind of curious though. If Riot want to speed up games, shouldn’t they be introducing faster cannon creep spawn earlier (if you’re counting on beefier minions/faster spawns to do this; there are obviously other ways to speed up the game)? The minion scaling buffs certainly look significant, but the cannon guys are still a bigger deal.

I’m so used to having Therlun play Xin, that when I saw the opposing team’s Xin, I called out on mumble, “I see Therlun Bot”. I guess I just associate Xin as being Therlun now.
Actually no, “noobs” wouldn’t be the ones QQing, Higher level players (where people make far less mistakes, and small things will win/lose you the game) would be. Being consistently put behind by something out of your control is incredibly frustrating. Reducing a solo lane to duo lane experience is huge.
If GP doesn’t die in lane, then his team is incredibly far ahead coming into the mid game. The only reason GP isn’t picked up in every single game is because he doesn’t being alot to a team fight for the majority of the game. He is still picked up an incredible amount though which is a testament to the power of putting someone behind.
Also can people stop recommending Xin as a jungler. Yes, he can jungle, but seriously unless your team is ridiculous stuck why the fuck would you put him there? He is one of the best laners in the game.
Attack Speed Blues, not CDR.

Zone him out. He’s terrible at preventing it. See how much mana he has left after his repeated attempts to heal.
Quite a lot actually as the most common builds on Pirate are Manamune or Double Philostone.
And explain to me how you can zone someone who’s lane will be at his tower for the entire game? I mean sure he might miss a few last hits through some nice aggressive play and such when he tries to get into melee range but nothing parley can’t make up for. Meanwhile you are being put seriously far behind.
By the way, I’m not sure this was obvious form my last post but I don’t want them to rework the skill. It’s the only thing that makes the champion competitive. I just was pointing out why a lot of people are, very reasonably, pissed off by it.

YESSSSS… jungling xin or irelia or shaco over WW.
Shaco yes, Xin no, Irelia maybe (she’s pretty decent in a solo lane aswell).
And I’d like to point out, that I wouldn’t advocate jungling them over a WW. Simply that they have better ganks before 6 (Shaco is the best ganker in the game bar none, Rammus comes close though).
The difference however is that a WW will fit practically every team set up, where as a Shaco requires the team to be built around him in order to be truly effective. So for a lot of people, who can’t tell how team comps work off the cuff, WW is usually the better choice. It’s also why he’s recommended above any other character as a first start to jungling, because you can never be wrong by picking a WW.
You know, I forgot to mention that no one’s brought up how Ezreal’s new ult makes Caitlyn’s ult look like such a PoS I am amazed they aren’t doing anything to her. They do the same damage and both scale on AD, but Ezreal’s can hit the entire enemy team from across the map and Caitlyn’s has a way longer channel and only hits one person from only a screen away.
They need to make Caitlyn’s global on any visible target. Ash and Ez can blindshot with theirs. So can Lux but with a bit less range, and let’s not forget about Karthus.

I think the issue is that they’re running out of ways to utilize the mechanics of the game in order to create new and interesting playstyles for champs.
Fair enough.
They are trying to copy Flint BeastwoodsUltimatefrom HoN (With the added bit of somone blocking because they thought that would be fun/cool). Thing is, the games are quite different and what is a decent enough Ultimate in HoN is practically useless in LoL (well, if it was unblockable like it should be then it might be alright).
There are 2 options I think they could use to fix it. Making it unlimited range but targetable (basically Forge’s idea), this would fit well into a game with quite a few global ultimate already imo and would make it far cooler when it actually does get blocked by an ally. Or they need to make it unblockable/do some kind of piercing damage, eg. if blocked the real target only takes 50% damage or something. I still think even if they did that it would be a bit medicore and the first option is a better choice. They do need to do one of them though.
