So how fun is the new champion to play?

Quite fun! He’s got some good mobility with his EQ combo that also knocks champions into the air and his W is an AoE slow plus a shield. His ultimate looks really cool, is useful in a number of different situations and also makes for some good laughs. Two thumbs up.

I don’t have him, but I’ve played both with and against him a bit. He seems pretty neat. The ultimate is great, and can even force pathing errors if used in tight spaces in the jungle.

Same here. And while I’ve run into a lot of really bad players, he does seem to have potential, his skills are neat, not sure yet about damage output. It’ll be interesting once people get some better builds and learn the in and outs, so far alot of people seem to be taking Wriggles with him, which is a bit strange.

Jarvan is one of those characters that can screw over his own team when not played well. His ult is also somewhat hindered depending on the enemy team as there are a bunch of heroes that can get out of the ring with a skill.
With the right team makeup he can be really brutal though. An example of a bad Jarvan, I was in a game the other night playing Renekton. Their Jarvan ulted on me just as I dashed into two of their squishies trapping them right next to me as well. Ult, plus sunfire, plus dice, plus cull and I ended up not only surviving but getting I think a triple kill, might have just been a double with someone else getting the 3rd kill can’t, see the stats for the game right now, but it was clearly a moment where I was thanking the enemy Jarvan much in the same way you sometimes want to thank the enemy Trist.

Wriggles is getting more and more popular as just a general pick up on melee champions.

They also used Wriggles as one of his items in the champ spotlight video.

IMHO, Wriggles is great on Tristana. Might work well with other AD carries like Ez and Caitlyn. Also, Blitzcrank… Because a well placed ward is Blitz’s best friend.

I’ve always liked Wriggles but I’m curious as to why it’s getting popular now.

With the Dorans changes alot more people are starting with a Cloth Armor and hey, guess what that turns into? It also helps that the item is extremely cost-effective and gives you a tremendous lane presence (the 500 damage proc also gives you lifesteal).

Also a free ward!

Considering the short lifespan on wards now, this is key.

Except most of the times the unsuspecting prey just stands there and gets hit by the sapling twice.

High Elo games still have 2 junglers in each game, right? I’m seeing like an average of about 1 per game since it got tougher.

1 dedicated jungler and 1 roamer. And it’s a specific strategy, not a norm. The list of good roaming picks is also a hell of a lot smaller then jungle choices :)

By 2 I meant one per team. Nobody seems to want to jungle in unranked or low elo anymore. I tried jungle udyr for the first time in a long time and failed miserably. I think I like him more than warwick, though since he’s a lot more versatile and has an early stun. I did see a smiteless amumu in ranked who was fed blue buff at level one, took stun at level 2 and could just spam crying and stuns in lane. That was interesting.

Yes, if every team should always have a jungler. If one team does and one team doesn’t then you are basically handed a free win.

Jungling is incredibly important, it’s also the easiest way to boost your way out of low elos as a good jungler can take over the laning phase.

That’s why I started to play Cho, he destroys people 1v1 or 2v1.

Man, I blew major chunks with Sion tonight. In fact, I think I’ve lost every game with him - although sometimes I have done a lot better in the past 2 days than I did with McK and Therlun… With no escape, and one set of bursts, I found myself usually surrounded by enemies and dead - and those are the times I wasn’t initiating poorly or walking into ganks… Gah. Must try more. Tempted to dump exhaust and get flash/ghost just for mobility and survivability.
