Had a pretty cool game yesterday. I was playing as Renekton with the Galactic skin and we had a Nasus on our team also using the Galactic skin, ended up laning together. People thought we were premade. We had the game pretty much in hand and were going for Baron when we got ambushed. Team got wiped except for me and Nasus but we got Baron and we then ended up essentially 2v5ing them in the river. As we took down enemy by enemy someone on our team said “Go go Galactic Brothers!”

Then I died from a DOT, bah. Nasus managed to run up the middle and finish off the game though. It was still pretty awesome.
That does sound awesome. Mostly the people on my teams just tell me to stop sucking. Maybe I need a galactic skin.
Galactic Nasus is the best Nasus.

Need to make a team with Commando Demacia, too bad i don’t own any skins :(
You can’t, there’s only 4 Demacians with Commando skins as they haven’t made one for Lux yet.

Is there anywhere to get a quick overview of the game backstory? There are Demacians and Murgles or whatever Tristana is and they are enemies? Oh, and a couple space aliens and void creatures?

As for keybindings, for anyone that is starting to use Smartcasting (Shift+Q/W/E/R/D/F), make sure you unbind Shift+[LMB]. I think it’s “attack move” or something like that, otherwise you may find yourself wondering why your champ just moved in a completely different direction to attack the closest creep after you’ve Smartcasted an ability.

Huh, I main Tristana’s and always thought her race was Mergling (spelled Megling, actually). Aren’t Merglings those little creepy guys in WoW who started a rock band? Not sure how that would work with her being a Yordle, though, but I tried not to think about it too hard. Apparently there was some dude named Megling and Trist is part of a brigade named after him. And with that I’m never reading any more LoL backstory ever again.

So we are getting another stealth champion next week? wonder if the new stealth revamp they were promising is also coming.
Man 3v3 is such a different beast from 5v5. Been playing a few to see if I want to play in the LoL tournament at PAX.

You can snowball so fast in 3v3. I played with a Jax the other day who went 15-0-2 after getting first blood and being fed a bit by the other team’s terrible Jax. I was Akali and just couldn’t get any kills because he was dishing out so much damage.
