Jax has ruled 3v3 since it was released. Even through all the nerfs he’s always been the ultimate pub stomp champ on that map, well him and Mundo.

As for advice on 3v3, you need at least 1 Smite always and teams regularly run 2. You want one champ that can jungle easily (One that stays near to full health, not something like Amumu) and then 2 solos that have some kind of mobility.

For all the bitching and moaning that HotShotGG is doing about going to PAX, I woulda thought it was because of a 5v5 tournament so that he could further exemplify himself to the internet world.

Yeah the retconning of everyone into Yordle’s was so unbelievably dumb. I didn’t even realize until looking at that Wiki that Veigar was a Yordle.

Mordekaiser has also been a top tier pick for 3v3 pretty much always. Zilean is the single best support on that map, although I think Janna probably still is as well. In general though squishy casters are bad picks on TT.

I hadn’t heard him talk about the PAX tournament, I didn’t even know there was one until reading about it here. All I’ve heard about recently is NESL and Go4LoL. I only remember one TT tournament ever, last summer sometime. I don’t think many people take the map seriously at all.

veigar is pound for pound the evilest champion in LOL…

You’re saying he has the highest evil-to-weight ratio in the game?

yes45

Is that a short joke?

Even ignoring his size, who else is even remotely as evil? Urgot? Katarina? Cho’Gath? Is Ryze evil?

“even now, your love ones SUFFER!!!”

Vlad is pretty evil I guess.

fixed.

I’d say Vlad, Renekton, and Fiddlesticks all qualify as evil.

I like it when the entire opposing team decides to go AP when I play Galio. I felt almost invincible with only 2200 hp. Though its kind of sad that his base Magic Resist is so pathetic.

18/5/15 as Tiaplank. Got to five Tiamats and one wriggles lantern (sold boots). Was pretty funny to one-hit creep lines but damn hard to actually use in combat, perhaps I’m not quick enough. If you do hit well you tend to knock of 30-50% of someone’s health, which is funny. Other than that a ton of damage and crits would probably be more directly effective… but I did get to over 450 AD, so that’s not bad. Oh, I did so well because the enemy team were terrible.

Another game and another win with GP. Nothing to do with me (or even chequers!) we just had a really good Amumu on our team and the other team didn’t have a single tank. I did ok, dropped some useful canon balls (getting better at choosing when to do that) and built a more standard build. Got some lulz out of two flash-parley kills and generally arriving late and kill stealing.

Still not a huge fan of GP. He is amusing but there are other carries/support/whatevs I would prefer on the team.

That being said, I might try Tiamats on Miss Fortune. Double activation on double-up!

Hrmph, I’m getting trained all wrong. At first I was way too aggressive, then I learned the basics and started dominating lanes in solo queues. Then I play with you guys and discover that I’m STILL way too aggressive. I fed like a mother bird last night.

Houngan, your account is bugged or something. It showed you as logged in constantly most of the weekend.

Huh, must be, I don’t leave my computer on when I’m not using it.

H.

I fed like a mofo last night as Singed. I was laning against Kennen and guy with Lance. (they should’ve just called him Kain like FF7 and been done with it)

Anyway, I was 0/8/0, which is mighty terrible, Singed can definitely be a bit of a pain to lane as, and this was the best Lancer I’d seen, and was unfamiliar with some of his ranges. You’d think that playing that badly would cost the game, but once I finally got a rod of ages up, I was able to start farming and getting tanky and generally being a nuisance. I think folks had the same expectations of being able to squish me fast from my poor laning and they were still trying to focus on me, which let our Kass get to 20 stacks on his meijas. I think he one shotted Teemo at one point, and I rallied up to something like 9/14/22, not great, but considering the starting deficit, not bad.

KAIN WASN’T FF7 HAND IN YOUR GEEK CARD RIGHT NOW.

I’ve played three or four matches with Soraka and it’s like I’m playing something new. If I thought the standard game was slow, this is like zen buddhism. Sort of fun though.
