I like BV on offtanks and carries depending on enemy team comp. I’ll rarely get it on Cho.
FoN is awesome.
If you go Frozen Heart then probably not, if you don’t though you will need something to enlarge your mana pool. And yea, FoN is possibly one of the best tank items in the game.
Pogo also knows alot more, first hand, about Cho then me. I haven’t played him in a long time so most of what I’m saying comes from general knowledge and from seeing what Cho’s do on my team/enemy team.
Please tell me there is a Cho build that involves legitimate warmogs and FoN. An AD-heavy team with madreds?

I’m ambivalent on Warmogs. Sometimes you don’t need it, but it sure does help if you tend to die during teamfights (while doing your job as a tank, of course) and you can’t keep your Feast stacks up. The regen and massive health give good staying power.
It’s always an option, just very expensive and you will run the risk of not having the proper resistance/armor to deal with damage.
I tend to not build it, instead rushing for Aegis or FoN. Again, reacting to the enemy team and to what’s going to give you the most trouble and how the game is playing out is the most effective defense. Of course, not dying is key, and Rupture/Scream and high health give you the tools to get the hell out of dodge before you lose those stacks.
Cho can be built in a million viable ways, depending on the enemy team. I often like Warmog’s and FoN, though if the enemy is really AD heavy I’ll get a Thornmail because there is nothing as funny as AD champs trying to kill something with 5000 hp 200 armor and thorns. Oddly enough I have never once bought a RoA or BV on Cho. If FoN isn’t enough MR I’ll get an Abyssal Scepter to boost my Sunfire Cape. Of course I also usually start with Doran’s Ring and the Meditation mastery and spam Rupture at people while maxing my E spikes, so it’s pretty hard to go wrong with Cho unless you build AD.
If you aim Rupture (or Scream) so that it hits a champ and creeps at the same time, even if they dodge it you might kill some creeps and get a refund. I don’t like Scream as much because you have to waddle up to them to use it and Cho is pretty slow. Rupture is also the most useful before everyone has boots and can just outrun it.

Yeah but waddling up to them means zoning them out after they realize that they’re at 50% of their health at level 3 just from your screams. Which has the ancillary effect of making their movement predictable for when you actually want to use that Rupture to get closer for a finisher or a gank.
Even Attack Speed Cho isn’t that bad. He has the highest AD growth of any champ in the game. He’s just a very versatile champion and there really is no wrong way to build him.
Attack speed Cho? You jest, surely. I’ve never seen anyone build that.

The best part of bot games is trolling Bunny and Inigima.
I think we need a new thread. This one is broke.
Mcknight and idrisz agreed upthread.

There are apparently still people on Qt3 who don’t know that if the first post on a page within a thread is deleted the page that no longer has any posts still appears on the navigation bar. You just can’t, you know, navigate to it, and attempts to do so take you to the actual last page.
Played the AI last night, better than previously - more aggressive if anything but otherwise almost impossible to lose at without purposely doing so :)
I’d quite like to play it and see how quick you could steam the nexus or all go mid and see how long it takes for the AI to react - possibly the quickest way to get to the nexus tbh
It will be a good place to test new champs though.
Had a couple of games as Akali and she is GREAT fun. I am really trying to hang back and then to turn up and burst someone down before hiding in me smoke before popping out to do it again. At my pseudo-elo people frequently underestimate her ability to tank face.

I played just a single game, its better, but yeah, at ‘intermediate’ it takes some work to lose to the AI. It also seems to get confused by Singed’s Flip ability, the AI would often pause for a second or two after being flipped – which would totally destroy them during laning. When I flipped Shen, he would often then dash in the wrong direction, farther towards the opposing side, like further into my tower that was already whacking him. I think the kill count was something like 35-4 and it was around the 25min mark when we won. It’s good to see them actually group up, the old AI wouldn’t leave its lane, except by accident. And now they can use Fortify, whoo.
does it still instantly forget about stealthed players? It was really easy to destroy the AI with someone like twitch because of this.

Just got a penta on Akali after not playing her for months. :)
That game was so depressing…
