Although Annie Bot stood in my (Akali) shroud and blue pilled for 2 seconds before walking off. I swear she was trying to bate me to attack, since she would have killed me (hence me running and shrouding in the first place).

Well I tried a pug vs intermediate AI and we just got slaughtered horribly. I played twitch and it plays smarter vs stealth than it used to. In fact stealth seemed to be a liability, because what I observed was that in a team fight, coming out of stealth meant all 5 would instantly focus me. I couldn’t really accomplish much. I went 5/10/10 and as a team we went like 40/64 if I recall. We had a couple of terrible feeders though, a garen in my lane fed 4 kills before I was level 6, and a jax went like 1/15.

AI tend to be overly aggressive during the laning phase, which works great on people like bunny because he just tries to run instead stay and fight. but if you have 2x tank lanes vs AI, you probably end up dominating the AI from early on…

Also AI doesn’t calculate odds of winning at all, Taric bot will often walk down the middle lane towards 3 champions just to get a stun off then tries to run back but dies because 1vs3 never works out.

Also they always goes for the character with lowest health even if that character is out of reach. I was playing Karthsus and there is almost no way for them to get to me due to my slow wall, yet they attempt over and over again running through 4 other champions while slowed trying to get me, getting bomb on the way in, then once they drop below half, they turn around and flee through the walls again, and dies.

What Level are you? My game was a solo queue game as well, I’m curious if it tries to match you up with people of the same level. I could see newer folks having trouble, and getting matched with some feeders could make it harder.

I’m 20 now, may have been 19 at the time. I didn’t check player level. I honestly think our garen was playing his first game or something. I did notice they blow summoner spells as soon as they can, firing ignites and exhausts while harassing when there’s no chance of a kill.

the problem is bot doesn’t farm like normal players, they seems to always trying to exchange harass.

they play like over-aggressive players.

I have the replay, it was karthsus(me) + gangplank(bunny).

MF + taric on their side, but taric was missing for first 6 seconds of the fight, and MF was just attacking right off the bat, I figure karthus + gangplank can easily beat MF alone plus our creep was attacking her.

but instead Mr GP decided to run around in circles while I fight MF…then afterwards he tell me he doesn’t have any attack…2 on 1, we could have auto attack her to death!!!

but no…let’s just farm norrrrmally. afterwards I know why bunny stick to the jungle…

I’ve died to bots due to the same thing. One of them overextends, and my lanemate runs away even though the bot isn’t even shooting at them, then I die because I expected some support.

And it really brings out how much people don’t think about their champion abilities in this game. What the fuck is the point of stunning a bot when it’s not going to run away until a predictable amount of health? Stun it when it gets to 25% health and finish the thing off.

Though if Taric is there, good luck. Taric is a pain in the ass and even the best players will get stunned and killed one time or another in these games.

what people don’t expect is early game aggression, if one side is very aggressive and other side is very passive. you can easily get first blood without taking any damage, if your opponent is very passive and just run away.

Laning is about farming but also you should punish people whenever they comes in, even as an even exchange.

Went to the LOL pax panel. Still at PAX but in line. Was interesting. The most interesting thing was seeing riot point out heroes where they think they sort of failed to meet there own goals on. For instance they highlighted how Shen fails to meet their visual criteria for the role he serves as he does not look like a tank. Another was how pantheon doesn’t offer any variety to play as you always run the same combo the same way.
