Well most new folks do, over in the EU we manage 3 different forum communities all together with absolutely no problems. It’s only over with you guys in the US that all this drama starts.

It’s a recent thing, though. Presumably we can make it stop.
because we don’t have any new folks recently??
There were a number of folks–Americans–who said something to the effect of “Hey I’m just starting out in this game” but, AFAIK, haven’t joined the mumble community.

Swain is a fucking blast.
People don’t realize how much damage his dots do until it’s 5 seconds later and they’re missing 40% of their health (or more, depending on their runes, I’m running 8.5MPen and 9AP on my caster runepage).
I even managed to hold off a Kassadin in mid. I would use W at my max range when I saw him move in. At that point my burst is better than his, so I just moved in, did the full dots, and popped my ult if I needed more health after his attacks.
Give him a shot if you like a Damage-Over-Time playstyle. Skill order is E>Q>W. Use E first to increase damage from your Q and W. W is a pretty good initiator for anyone that overextends or needs to be caught, using Q to slow them down if you need to aim it better.
Let me get up on my soapbox here…
You know why people aren’t joining Mumble? It’s hard. The mumble address is private, and you need an admin to be given talk privileges. Why? No other mumble server I’ve been on (and I have been on many, MANY voice servers) have had such problems they need this level of regulation.
The community is technically intimidating to join. Make it easier, and people will.
I’d like to take this moment to point out that the EU mumble is free to join no matter who you are. You either need to ask in this thread (or the threads on a multitude of different forums) or simply be friends with someone who is already a member. No special “privileges”, you can either access everything in the server or nothing. And there is at least one Admin on at any period of time :)
I’d also like to point out that the server is there for any US people who would like to play, it’s not EU exclusive by any means. Also anyone who expresses interest in the game, in this thread, will usually get PM’d by me with Mumble address’ and a few in game names to add.
Bunny’s server is different and is privately run by him for friends.
Less emo, more cute gifs!

I think the reason that Bunny put the restrictions on the mumble server is that we had a lot of random weird people that no one knew showing up on it for a while, and not to play any Qt3 games. Friends of friends of friends of that guy someone played a game with once looking for a free mumble server. That may have been where Steelsides came from, I think?

Bunny added the restrictions because of two guys who showed up once. I guess we were all afraid they’d mug us, so rather than ask who they were we had Bunny do some wizardly thing to make them unable to speak.
I think that was the right call.
Why is it a problem if randoms use the server? And why do you never talk about the server bunny?

They could follow us home.
The EU server we have to have a password (toc’s of teh server), that said the admins are quite happy to use the ban hammer as the way of sorting out if we have undesirables on the servers and tbh we’ve only had to use it once. I do get confused when i’m on Bunny’s server - generally just find a spare channel and hide in there :) But I understand it’s his server so his call.
Monarch Kog’Maw is one of the best skins in the game, that guy is nuts.
I like the new Fireworks Kog’Maw more. :3
This is pretty good too and educational
Also the vid had this great comic which I hadn’t seen before.
