And it’s the only reason Cho is a threat at melee range. Amumu eats away % health in an AoE and has his game-breaking ult, Malphite has enough melee damage to want to stay away, Galio has his AoE ult, Nunu has his AoE ult. Fucking Mundo throws cleavers every several seconds that do a % health damage. There was no reason other than Feast to get zoned away from a Cho.
And the more I play him, the more I realize his toolbox just isn’t all that effective compared to any other tank.
A ranged carry can crit a squishy for 800 in two hits. Parrrley late game crits a squishy for 1200+ in one hit. Feast was never a fucking issue.

Yeah, I’m a bit baffled by the Cho nerfs. I never felt like Cho was overpowered, its not like he’s getting banned left and right in elo. He’s a good tank, but I’m not sure why he got the nerf bat.
Re Pogo and Cho’s tools: I think he’s one of the few tanks with a Silence though, which is still cool. (though Taunt or Stun is probably better)
And the bastards nerfed Singed’s starting armor, which sucks, as I think he has a hard time in the laning phase already.
Is there an equivalent AP driven item akin to the Bloodrazor, that does percentage of health damage on hit by a spell?
Only item I can think of is Deathfire’s Grasp (click to inflict 30% of current HP in dmg)
If the wolf solos dragon in the jungle, but nobody sees it, does it count?

Stopping attacks AND movement for 2 seconds in a large AoE as an ult is more functional and useful than a 3 second silence to one or two champs every 13 seconds. The AoE stun is an initiation that ends a teamfight in less than 13 seconds. If it wasn’t so effective, it wouldn’t be banned in nearly every ranked game.
It can’t stop channels though. Just saying…
Cho has 2 very different and reliable ways to interrupt abilities and it was always one of the main reasons you would pick him up on a team. I do agree the nerfs are silly though, but I mean Riot always pandered to the masses.
Also checkers, it is completely based from the Blink dagger. The flash you are all used to today is a far cry from the Beta’s one which was a much, much further blink. And honestly, I think the not breaking projectiles change has been all that was needed for Flash to be perfectly fine.
Just think about how removing Flash would change the game. Like seriously think about it. Jungler ganks would become practically 100% successful, and would force and extremely passive and horribly boring laning phase. Quite a few of the champs in the game would be rendered practically useless, unable to initiate or use their skills to their full potential. Champions with built in Blinks would become ridiculously powerful, as you would be 100% unable to chase them. This is just what I’m thinking off the top of my head. QQing about Flash is fair enough, but you really have to sit down and look at the consequences of removing something so integral to the game. I mean you might aswell remove last hitting while your at it.

Personally I think flash isn’t nearly as much a problem as it was a year ago. I don’t find it nearly as frustrating to play against as I did back then.
So… I picked up Nocturne, and played one game against bots. And even though I havent played against players, I think he may be a tad broken. Then again I’m hardly a veteran, we’ll see. The dusk trail is ridiculously strong, in terms of speed and bonus AD. You can throw it by a tower to backdoor it quicker too since its a raw AD boost while you’re on it.
Roughly, the Q seems to get about .75 AD in damage, the E seems to get about 1 AP in damage, and the R seems to get about 1.1-1.2 AD in damage. I built dorans blade -> berserker shoes -> brutalizer -> trinity force -> blood thirster. I went 30/2/2 vs bots. The deaths were for overly aggressive tower dives.
He does have mana issues so you can’t be too spammy, but his skills are strong so you can conserve them.
Dusk trail’s damage boost can weaken a creep wave a lot and then help you last hit by boosting your damage, too, so he farms pretty well for a melee champion without a good escape. (though his base speed is great at 320)

I’d argue that Cho’s pop-up slow isn’t that reliable, the delay on it makes it tough to get any type of reliability out of it, even less so than other skill shots.
Yup, like I said the fact it doesn’t break projectiles anymore makes it incredibly easier to deal with :)
Also Josh, yea it’s hard to land Rupture in the laning phase but in a team fight or if someone is channeling an ability it’s pretty easy to get off.
Man, I was going to play something else tonight after a pretty frustrating day yesterday but I can’t resist fancy new champs. Damn you, Riot.
I’m sorry, but this is complete bull. You are perfectly allowed to think it, I guess, much like I am perfectly allowed to think you are doing nothing but trolling.
Also, Rupture is way easier to land in the laning phase before everyone has level 2 boots. After that it isn’t reliable at all unless you’re saving it for someone’s channel.
Lazy how am I trolling? Everything I said is completely valid. Or do you just view everything that contradicts with your point of view/opinion trolling? Because I’d view what your doing as trolling, answering with nothing but an insult and adding absolutely nothing to the argument.
And I specifically said it was used to interrupt channels.

Jungler ganks would become practically 100% successful,
this is BS right there,
I mid lane a whole lot, I never take flash, I usually play squishy AP carries, and there is a thing I like to purchase, it’s call a WARD!!!
the only gank that’s hard to get away from is rammus because even if you see him coming, it’s usually too late to get away due to how fast he is moving.
And Shaco, cos he can come from ridiculous angles. Also mid lane is the safest lane with regards to ganks… Just saying ;)
Also keep in mind, I did say practically. I’m just saying as a jungler, if I see someone take a solo lane and they aren’t running Flash the first thing that goes through my head is “Right, well that person is dying at least once this laning phase”.

not even shaco because his deceive last so short, he usually have to walk into a bush before deceiving, but I don’t ward the bush, I ward a little north of north bush and south of the south bush…
mid lane is the only lane you need 2 wards for, every other lane is sufficient with 1 wards. if you think mid lane is safer because it’s 1vs1 than you are crazy.
the champion is probably much more dangerous than Shaco once he hit lvl 6, because it looks like his Ult’s range is huge.
Top lane is also 1v1? It’s also incredibly more dangerous then mid with a longer distance to tower and many angles a jungler can arrive from. This isn’t my opinion Idrisz, it’s a well known fact.
And a good Shaco will gank you without ever going into the river, at least not visibly. This goes doublely so for top/bot lanes which give you ridiculous Deceive angles.

Like Idrisz, I prevent many a gank on myself via ward and ghost/exhaust. Exhaust in particular, actually, is fucking awesome when being chased 1v2.
Don’t get me wrong, wards win games and you should always have wards up as much as possible.
I’m just saying without Flash, you are a much much juicer target. Not much is getting away from a Rammus/Shaco gank without it. Red Buff is simply too strong and they can avoid your wards quite easily :(
Rammus doesn’t avoid wards, per say. He’s simply too fast to be seen by the naked eye.
First game of the day, played against a Nocturne for the first time and while i never got killed by it, my teammates decided to feed him, also his ult has an insane range.
Then our tank amumu says he needs to leave so he tries to rush into winning the game at minute 15, which gets the enemy team even more fed and then leaves the game.
I hate my life.
