Oh also forgot to add, us EU people have almost 20 people on every night. It’s the biggest server pop out of both countries… So much so that a lot of the US lads come across and play with us a lot of the time.

I play MF and love love her tho she is squishy as he’ll. Most of the time I go 12-6-10. She is fast and deadly

Picked this up and playing as TinyPirate have had a couple of practice runs and it is fun - but I am somewhat overwhelmed by strategy and options etc.

All I have worked out is “pirate dood likes +crit items” and that his self heal is pretty handy and his lack of crowd control makes hitting heroes hard. Any place I can find some good tips to bring me up to speed?

Rotation this week is awesome.

Also Calistas, what server are you on?

Disconnected players will now run home if their Blue Pill is interrupted

Disconnected players now gain 1000 Magic Resist after 1 minute of continuous disconnection

About time. I hate people that dive dc’d players.

http://leaguecraft.com is a decent starting spot.

Morgana is OK, but she doesn’t really click with me. I’ve had success with her but it’s a very hands-off feeling. Maybe I’m buying the wrong items.

Morgana is like PENTAKILL-if-played-correctly-material, AKA PIPCM!!

Um, I dont’ know? The US I think? One that is down, anyway.

And thanks for the link, Blue!

Crit items are good but don’t neglect your AD or armor pen. All the crit in the world won’t matter much if you hit like a wet noodle.

One of GP’s great strengths is he can rush an infinity edge faster than anyone in the game. After that I’d probably go youmuu’s -> bloodthirster or black cleaver depending on how much you’re dying. If you can’t keep your BT stacks, get the cleaver. Once you’re done with that item you might want something like a frozen mallet because GP’s got caster-like hps late game without any survivability items. Parley procs slows iirc so it’s both offensive and defensive.

So I assume you aren’t level 30? I tend to run GP with my Urgot/Kayle rune setup which is armor pen reds and quints, mp5/lvl yellows and blues so that I can stay out in the lane as long as humanly possible and use my abilities whenever I like. With GP that means denying creeps via boost morale (or whatever that skill is) as well as last hitting with Parley.

I don’t think it’s at all viable without a level 30 rune page, though, in which case I’d just focus on last hitting with Parley (don’t ignore the +gold component!) while attempting to stay alive. :)

As your skill (and rune page) increases you’ll be able to deny creeps and keep the creep wave in that happy spot just outside of the range of your tower where you can’t really be ganked and the other team will be very gankable.

Let’s play a game: What should I do while LoL is down? Free games are a plus.

Play Civ, obv.

We can’t play till Friday… You know this… Stop rubbing it in.

LOTRO isn’t too bad and it’s free now.

Also: what is with people and Teemo? Why is he in like 50% of my games? Why pick him and make the four other (presumably non-braindead) people on your team rage? Teemo is objectively bad by any measure and yet… people play him. A lot. It makes my brain hurt.

Because it’s fun?
Not everyone plays to win, some play gasp! for fun and don’t care that much if other players rage.
Personally I try to play whatever the team needs but in random games fuck if I care, I play whatever I want, including Teemo.

I’m also not convinced Teemo is bad. I’d take him over an Evelynn on my team any day.

How is Teemo fun? You enjoy being two shot in every team fight?

I find forge’s defense of Teemo much more enjoyable.

Nah, I enjoy killing people with my mushrooms and dot+ignite. The game isn’t all about team fights and winning them, lots of champions shine solo or in lane while they suck in teamfights, doesn’t mean one shouldn’t play them.

I’d rather have a good Teemo on my team than a bad player of any other champ.

And again, randoms for me = having fun, not necessarily winning or having a high k/d ratio.

Who chases Teemo? If he runs away into the bushes, you let him go and kill everyone else on his team while he cowers and contributes nothing. You know, assuming you can’t land a stun on him and make him explode instantly.

Virtually guaranteeing your team a loss at champion selection is a pretty rotten thing to do. There’s no such thing as a good Teemo. Teemo is bad. Objectively awful, perhaps even worse than Eve.

And no I won’t take that back!

There is no way this is true. Teemo can at least get his attack speed up and attack at decent range. Last night I had a match with an Eve on our team, we were definitely losing the game but we got into a big team fight in our base. Both teams essentially wiped with our Eve still standing at full health and the other team’s Ms. Fortune at 1/3rd health. So I watched our Eve sneak up on Ms. Fortune attack…and then get killed. ACED. So Ms. Fortune was then able to press on the inner base and it was game.

If it’s any consolation I’m pretty sure the same thing happens to Teemo. I can see him charging in to blind, only to have MF kite him through her E before murdering him with Q and her E steroid.
