I didnt check it cause i’m currently uploading lots of stuff but do they save the streams as vodcasts or whatnot for later viewing?

Yi should always have cleanse so that’s somewhat of a non-issue.

It looks like Rinoa is saving the streams there. There’s also a number of HotshotGG and Wickd (EU high Elo player) games.

So what are the key points of difference between HON and LOL. Trying to encourage a friend to give LOL a try!

Some great walls from Jiji.
CLG’s team comp is ridiculous. No way to stop all of that CC

HS with the fountain dive!
Does a genre newbie have a hope in hell of figuring out this game, much less be competitive? I’ve played Demigod a few times, but I read the last page or two and don’t have a goddamn clue what the f**k you guys are talking about…
If you played demigod I’d say you should be able to figure this out.

That’s cause we’re wonks, being wonky. All DotA-likes have the same basic ideas.
So, I reckon any one of CH, SK and CLG could win. I didn’t see all of them but the SK vs CLG match was funny. CLG were completely outplayed. SK even potentially outpicked them, running a team capable of easily pushing two lanes and even countering Jiji’s Kog’Maw. SK made all the right moves at all the right times, running two-lane pushes, clearing both jungles and just making a mockery out of CLG. There was a moment in the middle, about the point that SK lost their first (and only) tower that it started to become a little more balanced. CLG could potentially have come back. In the end the constant pressure from SK turned out to be unbearable.
The single best part of SK’s game was their CC-cycling. The way they timed the Ashe, Sona and Galio ults was perfect, and Galio shares MvP with Sona for the match. If I had to give it to one, it would probably be Galio for his awareness and positioning, but it’s a close call.
CH I haven’t seen properly yet, but it’s going to be close.
This is missing the point completely, but after that game I look at Elementz’s tier list and laugh.

SK had to win and CLG wasn’t playing for anything. I think CLG even hinted they wouldn’t be playing seriously until elimination (China and SEA may just be that bad).
In fact, watching this China/SEA game, I am certain they are that bad. :(
70 minute game, Ashe with 500 creep kills. This is nuts, will someone end it already?

It hasn’t been out very long in China and SEA, so give them a year and they’ll be back to beating on the other nationalities.

I’m thinking Nunu needs to go ult in their fountain, show them who’s boss and all that.
Woo, finally over.

This Blitzcrank is hysterically bad. Has he done anything other than sit in a bush and miss grabs? I think everyone’s at least one item up on him.

A final and deciding game three in the WCG Finals is coming up in 10-15 min:

It’s poor quality, unfortunately. Oh and they’re looping commercials until just before the match.

Congrats to CLG. After the first game they out-picked and out-played SK completely.
People are going to say that SK are one-trick ponies with TF and Kass. That’s not true, I don’t think. They tried to take CLG on at their own game and got walloped. Kass picked up Mejai’s twice in games he had no reason to and then failed to jump on the right targets. Tibbers should not have been on the map once that game.
We know he’s an amazing Kassadin from game one. Why wasn’t he game two or three? What happened to Shen? What was with their line-up second game? They mis-played far too badly after a great start. I wasn’t a fan of their game two and three line-ups either and whoever played Miss Fortune should be shot.
CLG went for the ult-mayhem lineup and pulled it off with aplomb. I just hope there’s more competition in the future as, at the moment, it looks like CLG are nearly unbeatable. I guess the only way to do it is the way it happened first game, but with better bans. Don’t take CLG at their own game. They’ll eat you. Decide which of Garen, 'mumu, Anivia, Sona, Ashe and Taric you’re going to struggle most against and ban them. Allowing two of those characters three games in a row is just stupid.
Does this mean the US metagame is better than the EU one, or that the competition in the US is better? I wouldn’t like to give an answer. Anecdotally, the EU scene has more teams with the potential to win any specific tournament whereas CLG win everything in the US. Anecdotally. Hopefully this will create more competitive teams. I want to see Fureur play CLG. Now that would be a match. There are a bunch of names toward the top of the EU ladder I don’t recognise, and I can never remember who Wickd, imb4h and Zylor play for.
I’m disappointed in Phreak, by the way. Some semblance of neutrality from a Riot employee might have been nice, particularly as he had nearly all the mic. time. “Can we see the sad German faces please?”
Great games! I liked that CLG (North American team) was beat by SK (German team representing Europe) in the earlier rounds of the tournament, and then lost the first round despite having a “dream team”. SK team’s TF made such a huge difference.
The final game was just dominant team play by the NA team. Very calculated and well executed. My favorite moment in the final match was Amumu’s grab near the end. That Amumu (aka Kobe) has been solidly criticized for his play in earlier rounds but that move was outstanding.

The problem for EU is the ban system and limited options. There are two champions who can push a lane effectively and jump into team fights when necessary and one of them is a squishy melee champion who will get wrecked by CLG’s AOE.
I think it’s kind of funny how game one worked out because Wickd talked with HotshotGG about summoner spell picks and criticized Americans for never picking up anything other than ghost and flash/ignite/cv, whereas EU players try to get a fortify, teleport, etc, generally speaking. Teleport wouldn’t have completely fixed the TF issue but it would have left them an opening while it was up.
Anyway, I think it’s somewhat overstated. If Kobe’s Amumu doesn’t fail with smite on Baron twice, and he doesn’t tower dive a team with fortify + Shen (killing half his own team) then I think TF wouldn’t prove to be the same force he was in that game.
Oh! And Jiji’s Anivia is just super fun to watch. Christ he’s good.
Anivia’s walls were amazing.
