I can’t decide which 6300 champion I’ll buy next. My choices are: Anivia, Corki, Ezreal, Galio, Kennen, Karthus, Malzahar, Miss Fortune, Twitch, Vladimir or (1) Rune Page.
I’m leaning towards a rune page since I already have a dozen champions I haven’t the foggiest idea how to play and having to fiddle with my runes every time I want to play a different champion is very annoying.
Practically speaking, if I were to buy a champion, Galio is probably the only champ I’d get to play regularly because everyone and their mother likes to play a carry. But I think Anivia is super fun and Twitch is getting a new awesome skin. Decisions, decisions!
I played Vlad today - I love him, wasn’t great at him but am improving and imho he is relatively easy :) Don’t understand his ult yet though :(

You cast Hemoplague on, say, three people. Those three people are now taking increased magic damage and in a few seconds it will deal damage to each one of them (and remove the magic damage debuff). It’s great to initiate with just before all your burst is about to happen.
So when you cast it catches everyone in the area (which is quite small?) and then even if they are out of the area they are vunerable?
When I play Vlad, I almost always take ignite. The ult+ignite combo is potent, especially if you can land it on a carry that isn’t wearing any magic resist. Agreed with Joe’s mention of initiating with the ult - as soon as your team engages, plopping it on 3+ people is awesome; most Vlad’s save it until later in a team fight to get kills which is usually less helpful from a team perspective.
Same goes for Karthus - I’ve appreciated the rare Karthus that initiates a team fight with their ult, putting the other team at a health disadvantage immediately. Especially nice when used if a team fight is happening at their inhibitor turret - they are forced to either engage or retreat and lose the inhib. [Note: I used to be a fan of Karthus but not so much anymore as I don’t think he brings a lot to a team fight.]
Vlad’s ult will impact everyone that is in the circle the moment you cast it. During the 5 seconds after the cast, they take up to 18% more magic damage (helpful for both you and your team) followed by a burst of immediate damage which can be remarkably strong if Vlad’s AP is high and the targets don’t have very much magic resist.

Yeah, it applies the debuff to the champions, not the ground they’re standing on. So anyone who’s in that circle when you drop it? They’re all plagued.
Anyone tried the paid LOL iPhone app? A reference of items and whatnot sounds handy - but I’m unsure based on the rating of the free app.
Nope, but I have the free Android app. It is great and usually updated within a day of new heroes being added.
Trust me dude, buy a rune page. I now have 4 and it’s awesome being able to just decide to play a champ and not have to worry about how your runes are set up. The set up I now use are 2 different pages for my mains and then 2 other general pages set up for casters and Physical champs incase the team needs a different champ or I just feel like using someone different.
On that note, for the serious players out there. How many champs do you feel comfortable playing? I mean I have 2 I’m very capable with (Akali/Sona) and one I could play in my sleep (Amumu, my one and only). I have a couple more champs I could play if pressed but I wouldn’t feel nearly as comfortable with them. I’d like input from others as to how many champs you can really spread yourself across?
Tried a new build of Tristana I invented - Sunfire Cloaks and Phage (never made it to Frozen Mallet). I can’t say it worked… I figured I could rocket jump into people, let them eat auto-attack and two cloaks while living and rocket jumping out later.
I think, perhaps with tweaks, it could still be powerfl and surprising… but I haven’t got the skillz haha.

I played a game on EU just now, my ping was approaching 300 and it cost me a couple of kills.
Lost out to a Garen that was clearly smurfing.
Had 2 rage quitters! I forgot how unorganized low level LoL is.
Any of you US guys up (or Euro). There I am hoping for an early game and no one is on :(
tbh if you’re playing over here i’d only play if you hook in on our mumble and as a premade. Then it would make sense, with randoms no so sure.

I’ll add you now - though I can’t now play at this point - always useful for future. Worth grabbing the EU client as I can see they still have 4 playing. We managed to get a 3 player game. Ohhh Mcknight, I loooooooove Ammu as well :)
