I remember them saying that playthroughs would be different each time, so I suspect they will randomize which cast member doesn’t make it each time you play the map.

Still, it should make it easier to have different player models on the server to randomize the characters up a bit.
Playing with the giant team in endless mode has shown us that with 8 people- you are far more than twice as effective vs. the zombies. I would say versus would have to stay 4v4, but if they came up with some sort of really hard campaign mode for it, or some way to have two groups of survivors, I would be very happy with it(in theory)

The missing survivor will be Louis… IIRC, he was the one character that didn’t have any new lines (besides some reused chuckles) in the mini-DLC from last year.
Does anyone still even play the 360 version? :P The PC version, natch.

If you buy PC you got the support of our steam group to get some good games. Downside is that we all know the maps and strategies like the back of our hands. Upside is, you can learn em from us ;)
It is really fun though. Lately people have been busy, but we still get 1 or 2 weekday games and then several on the weekend. It will probably pick up again with the new DLC.

Left for Dead is probably the absolute worst shooter to play on a console, since the primary skill needed for success is “looking around a lot.” Followed closely by “precision shooting during panic.”

I’d say that if everyone is trying - really trying and not going off on missions or just laughing at other people going off on missions - you’re like 4x as effective when you double from 4 to 8. At least.
