In case you missed it the last twenty times it was posted, you can pretty easily find a game of L4D with other Qt3 people by clicking here. The steamgroup chat room is our pickup game staging area.

So it won’t let me join the chatroom. Do I need to be a member first? I haven’t played much, but would be into some newbie co-op.

stusser, unless something has changed, no, you don’t need to be a member first. Try joining the group manually rather than following the link, maybe?

After some tinkering, I’ve readded sourcemod to the qt3 servers and added the following plugins:

votable pause
player swap
water break
snarespeak
MP5 and SSG552 from German version of L4D2
Acid-DOT swipe for the spitter (1 damage per tick, 10 ticks, stackable)
Zombie Character Select
Survivor Character Select (models only… so you can play as Francis with Rochelle’s voice)

I liked the new weapons, the SSG quickly became my favorite last night.

The mutations are sounding really cool, cant wait to give them a go.

I want Madness! permanently. Just wave after wave of badass zombies, you have to make big pushes to the next ammo pile, etc. Sounds like a blast.

Gaming without a mic is acceptable, though you may be accused of secretly being a girl. Crying out to your teammates for help is a huge part of the game, though, so you would be at a disadvantage. Not everyone plays with mics.

Yeah that sounds fun, although it’s doable with console commands (except for the speed/damage).

OK, I didn’t think much of L4D2 when I first played it but these mutators sound pretty good.

I am totally determined not to end up with this abominable version and it looks like something in Steam/something with my bank is preventing me from ordering the gore version from the US or UK store.

Does anyone have an uncensored gift copy on their steam account? I will paypal you for it.

Nothing we do seems to work. Strangers always join. I play with a tight group of friends and we always ask, “who’s that?” I wonder if “friends” includes groups you’re members of?

Still, I can’t believe the QT3 group has the some of the asshats we’ve played with.
