It’s possible that because Jab and Trey are both long range sniper players (who both smoke crack while playing L4D, don’t get me wrong) they might develop some vulnerabilities in their close range game.
That’s most probably a bullshit analysis, though.
To be honest I thought we had the better team from the get go so I don’t really get the “B team” designation. I don’t always agree with the popular perception of some players, though I feel I’m pretty good at guessing which team will win in a variety of situations.
Yeah, I was gonna say - LSB, SKG, and SS would not be my definition of a ‘B’ team.

P.S. I’ve done some stat checking and I vote to stake Copet. Or Spooky. I forget which one. It’s one of those quiet unassuming guys with insane accuracy.

You have to understand that I’ve lost count of number of times people want to split up Trey and Jab (or Pogo if he was on)…one normally takes infected and the other survivor with the rest random.
The comment is directed more towards page 65 of this discussion where people were talking about how to even up teams - IMO outside of noob QT3’s, my point is the regular crowd is pretty well stacked. If you thought there really is a “B” team, you’re misled.
BTW - I’ve played with Spooky a few times - not nearly enough to form a firm opinion, but from what I’ve played he gets us into more scrapes than anyone else - always venturing too far away from the group, thinking he can take that smoker all by himself, etc. It’s like we need to change his name to SpookyBaitGuy. lol (j/k spook, just pokin’ fun)
And I can change my name to “Tmancantmeleetosavehislife” or shorten it to “hunterbait”

I think Pogo is just saying this so that he can grab the Hunting Rifle instead of me. Do we have any inside information on when the 4 player matchmaking is coming? That would at least make our pub games more interesting.
The page 65 debate about team choosing was really about when there are noob qt3’ers there, Tman. The reason I didn’t say anything about teams (and the reason no-one said anything about teams) is that in that game, it would have been balanced no matter what. Once you have 2 people on who don’t play very often though, you need to split them up or it won’t be fair, because if you roll the dice, according to Murphy’s Law they are going to end up on the same team, and then it’s not fun for anyone (I’ve been on the winning side of qt3 blowouts too, it’s not much more fun than the losing side. Even games are better for everyone).

Average people and good people don’t always make a huge difference, but 1 bad/new person can really screw the entire team over. As long as new people listen to the rest of the team, though, they should be fine. All it takes is saving your teammates from pounces/pulls and keeping up with them.
LOL somebody called me quiet. Wisefool… I can’t remember the last time that you were on my team, but I promise you, I’m anything but.
Oh, and if you’re stat checking, you’ve seen Copet. He has my vote for best of all Qt3 regardless of what he or others say.
You caught me on a bad few nights Tman… every minute or so I check on my team and think “What am I THINKING?” I’m usually a really good player but i’ll admit I’ve been trash the last few Vs. I think it’s a mixture of doing too many pub smashes (I pick up a HR and get cocky), team dynamics (I usually have a good feel of when to bolt ahead… not in the last few days), and laziness (most likely). It’s not a rule, it’s an exception.
I played with you guys some last fall, was pretty lousy then, and I’m sure my months of inactivity haven’t made me any better, but I wouldn’t mind an invite to the L4D group thrown my way.

Hey, you’re looking at a guy who does 40 points of friendly fire damage on average (not sure if that’s per round or per game, I hope it’s per game :S), and has done 1200 points of friendly fire damage at one point or another.
Apologies for bailing before the finale last night, and thanks for forgiving my rusty skills. I’ll try to be around for more L4D again soon, but it has gone kind of low on my gaming priority list.
Wow, I only do 33 of FF damage per game…sure feels like more.
the accuracy counter on steam must be broken, my Assault rifle Acc is 100%, I mean I’m Legendary and all, but that high. I would expect 35/40% in reality.
What the stats show me is i have to throw more stuff, I’ve only thrown 7 grenades since May 25.

The accuracy stat is indeed bugged, I have 100% accuracy with the SMG and AR. On a couple of occasions, irate pubs who checked stats pages have accused me and jab of using aimbots.
Well, you don’t but I’m sure Jab is :)
Trust me, I’m pretty sure it’s per round. :P
