hi! finaly a community that does not follow the mainstream of the huge publishers thoughts about ideals in games. i of course support this and have a indie game myself in the works with a talented staff.
my motivation for creating this post is to get comments about the production and seeking that some people would help me in the production.
a little something about myself as an artist would be that i love being deep, and i am getting there by using surealism and taking a twisted pespective at something real and maybe even inocent. recently i have taken something as “banalt” as a hentai game and tried to give it a deep side and emotion. hentai games has always been more of a excuse for porn than a real game. the user is not really included in the unfolding of the plot. so i decided i could do it better…
so you know my abbility and potential i have displayed a bit of my art:
the game is going to be more of a social sim (leaving you inside the body of a young lad) than a hentai game (but of course there will inclueded hentai scenes, since that is the primary goal of you). if you want to know any details about the game you are more than welcome to ask… or if you want to be a part of the project.
i will leave you with a conceptional screen of the game.
EDIT: many of you might now me from pixelation, bechause i am a pixel artist and a game creator without doing any programming.

Something Awful just did a hilarious feature on hentai games (a few of the reviews–particularly the screen captions–made me laugh so hard that I snarfed coffee all over my monitor). So I’m guessing that it’s either one of the SA folks, or someone from this forum that just read that feature.
i understand why many people find hentai to be stupid and shallow (and even perverted and sick), i had the same thought about it to (and still share some of them), but if you want to create something deep you must create it out of something shallow (me being surreal).
the game will not be a excuse for porn as hentai games normaly are. this is about capturing a certain atmosphere and letting you come inside the body of this young lad trying to get laid (sounds familier?). it will be more realistic (meaning no tentacle rapings. heh). just a substitue life if you own troubles you (it is a fact that many people want to run away from their own life at points by reading about celebrities, watching tv or even smoking hash or pot.
you will have many choices of control and the gameplay will not be set as a novelle. just to get that straight.
i create this game bechause i want to see it being created. a twist to a genre that is so mocked.

Well, having not played the game, I can’t comment on it. I’m not one of those who think that turning something inherently shallow (like Hentai relationship games) into something really meaningful is easy and I’m not sure it’s worthwhile.
As for the graphics, all these girls in these games look the same to me. Just different hair color and uniforms.

this game is going to be less shallow, less sterotypical and more original ergo more deep (compared to other games of the genre).
I’m sorry, but are you like 10 or something? I wouldn’t even expect this out of adolescence. “No because you smell” sure is meaningful and deep ;b
