He certainly had his hand in creating things.
Too bad about the other stuff he had his hand in.

Just linking Tucker Carlson and the Daily Caller as something they agree with.
But it’s just Russian trolls guys, it’s not like this was Bernie’s Comms Director or anything.
“Ask yourself, is Donald J. Trump ready to lead this country? Could he find his car in a three-tiered parking garage? Could he navigate a salad bar? And by the way, what exactly is his position on the Coronavirus pandemic? Those are the mysteries Trumpists now face.”
Very good questions, Tucker.
I’m sure Joe is for the pandemic.

Threatening someone with Trump should be all it would take. I have no real first choices among the Dems, but as long as Trump loses in November the world will be a better place.

This of course is a lie. Because people who believe this don’t want “progressive policies,” they want “burn the system down” policies. The Democratic platform in general, and Biden’s already-expressed policies are extremely progressive. He’s just not threatening to tear the party apart and start over, so it’s not enough for some.
Yeah, you’d think so, but it sure doesn’t sound like it from Twitter. Of course, Twitter is not the real world, and we are extremely fortunate this is the case.
Four years of Biden will be at absolute best mediocre, and more likely some significant lost ground in the battle against oligarchy. But four years of Trump will be at best a disaster, and at worst world-ending. The choice isn’t hard.
A sane friend om FB posted this. Spot on, dammit.
You’re voting for sane, competent governance. That’s it in a nutshell.

You have to remember that there are plenty of people who, if they can’t get socialism at the ballot box, are happy to have Trump dismantle democracy to clear the way for a people’s revolution. So they see all the elements in Don Quixote’s list as reasons to vote for Trump. Lots of these voted for Bernie in the 2016 primary and Trump in the general. It’s a pretty small group percentage-wise, but in a closely-divided electorate they are significant.

The problem with this line of thinking (will, one of many problems) is that there’s basically no chance of a people’s revolution in an authoritarian state with the kind of power that the US government has.

Also most of them are pretty strongly against violence or even owning a firearm. You aren’t gonna overthrow most dictatorial governments with a protest march. They can just mow you down or arrest you.
I think a lot of them expect some French Revolution scenario without storming the Bastille or some October Revolution forgetting that those dudes had a lot of machine guns. It’s more likely to be a Warsaw Uprising scenario.
Agreed. It’s the Horseshoe Theory with “right wing gun nuts” and “radical leftists” at either end, each carrying a similar fantasy of a populist uprising against an oppressive regime.

Here’s how it will actually go in America:
Step 1: Destruction of democracy by Trump
Step 2: Boot stomping on face forever
Step 3: there is no step 3

No, step 3 is “Do it to Julia!”
