A hobby store by me has a Radio Shack branded parts section in the shop.
Wish we had heard the warnings on Ultrasabers before ordering. Just opened both lightsabers, they looked anmazing out of the box and the first playtime with them was great…. Then we were removing the batteries to charge them (with the sabers off). Both batteries exploded and caught fire in the electronics. The chassis are ok but both batteries and electronics are toast. No response from support email so far. They didn’t answer our calls or return our messages.
Oh wow! That’s crazy. I’ve had one of the cheap batteries burn out, but it did so while I had it out of the chassis charging it, so no harm other than to the battery.
No response back so we have initiated a credit card dispute.
Oof. Sorry! Hope it gets resolved well one way or another.

And yeah, the controls can be crazy complicated and tough to remember. I still have to look up some options when I fool around with mine.
