Donut Country is out now on iOS and a bunch of other platforms. It’s a cute looking little game where you move a hole around the screen swallowing up objects, the more you swallow, the bigger the hole gets, so you can swallow bigger objects, etc. Sort of a weird spin on a Katamari Damacy game, except the levels are much smaller affairs and there’s no time limit or anything you can do wrong as far as I can tell. I gave my impressions over in the iOS thread. Short version: it’s fine. I’m okay paying $5 for it on the App Store where paying anything at all feels extravagant these days. But more than $10? I don’t usually like to go to dollar/hour formulas for if a game is “worth it”. But I’d have a hard time recommending this at that price.
