I feel like I want to make a HOTAS comment, but also feel I might get banned. :D

They might put their feet on the pedals, though.
Any idea why the population numbers in my cities are so large?
I’ve tried different desktop resolutions, as the game’s only options appear to Audio.
Only 2 discussions on Steam so far, neither mentioning this issue. I’ll try there next if nobody has any suggestions here.
Huh, no issues here. Are your video drivers up to date?
Didn’t figure I’d have to update my drivers for Oasis, but I tried it. Didn’t help. Thanks for the reminder to check my drivers though.
Huh. It’s playing in a window right?
No, mine is full-screen. Is that an option somewhere?
I wonder if it could be some kind of truetype issue? Are you using any custom settings for that?
Not that I’m aware of. I had to google truetype to see what it was.
Beyond screen resolution, I also tried adjusting text size as well.
I dunno, mine always runs in a window. Maybe do alt-enter?
Alt+Enter throws a Steam error, but fullscreen persists.
Really appreciate all the suggestions, and I’ve also posted in the steam discussion now.
I hope they get it fixed man.

That screams DPI issue to me - there are a ton of options to tweak with this in the exe properties and system level but I can’t keep track of them all since they keep moving them around and renaming every minor release in W10.
Yeah, sorry, I meant DPI issue as @Grendal mentioned. When I had custom DPI font settings in the past, some software would not handle it right and you’d end up with weird stuff like you’re seeing.

Try setting, in the executable’s properties, high DPI scaling to “system - enhanced” I think it is. That has solved quite a few DPI scaling issues for me in the past. It’s in the compatibility tab behind a button whose label I can’t recall but it shouldn’t be tough to find.
I tried different DPI scaling, including enhanced. but it didn’t seem to help. So, then I messed around with Run in 640x480 and Disable Fullscreen Optimization. That did it, so I then tried to undo one, then the other. After undoing both, it was still working, so now I don’t know what to think.
Thanks for bringing up going into the executables properties however, because I didn’t even know there was a compatibility tab. Something in there worked.
Is the Tunic demo working for anyone else?
I installed, launched it , get to the main menu and it wont let me click the play button. :|

For those of you who haven’t bought and played Chronicon, you should go do that, now. This will of course lead you to the Chronicon thread, which every right thinking person subscribes to.
For the record, I’m not a fan of pixel graphics, but this game is so worth it, even if you hate pixel graphics. The depth and feel of this game is fantastic, it’s a much better version of D3. There are so many quality of life issues that are addressed for this genre it’s more than worth the price.
Actual, meaningful, important crafting, you really need to pay attention to all the crafting options in endgame. “Crafting” in this game boils down to transmutation, enchanting, and gem slotting. End game crafting doesn’t just net you reasonable gear, it’s vital to really maximizing builds. See a legendary that has a neat effect you like? Transmute it and put in on your own piece of gear. See an awesome scroll, that has an ability not even available to your class? Transmute it and turn it into a codex, that makes it a permanent castable. Found a great piece of gear that has some dud affixes?..Reroll all of them and lock them in place individually as you go. The number of options you have, to build the class you want, are staggering and just plain fun.
This game is ridiculously cheap for the depth it offers, don’t be fooled by the graphics, this is a much more complex and satisfying version of Diablo.
