This has been available “SOON” for getting on close to a year, now. Own the first two on Itch. They’re a lot scarier than the graphics would make you think! Maybe they’re waiting for Halloween. Let’s hope.
Yeah, honestly I love the concept and the style, but the trailers wig me out in a way that means I might not actually enjoy playing.
Just saw this as an honorable mention (sort of) on the PC Gamer 100 list.

That looks great! Now I need to remember what it was my friend covered a while back that looked similar to this. Super evocative to my old ZX Spectrum eyes though.
(I love New Blood’s thumbnail branding too!)
Never played Thomas was alone or Subspace Circular, but I’m a sucker for solitaire games and this looks great.
Thanks for pointing that out! A solitaire game by Bithell with a really sleek neon presentation. Wishlisted.

Dujanah looks very cool (and I’m pretty sure I own it from the itch bundle… aye I do!), but I was talking about Faith–I should have quoted Nightgaunt. Hylics does look very Dujanah though! Wow.
That said, I found the game I was thinking of and it’s called… Faith! It must have been an earlier version because it was from December 2017! I even feature right at the very beginning of that video, haha.

Oh no, hang on, I bet that was part 1 or something.

Yes, there are two parts out now on Itch. The “Unholy Trinity” thing on Steam will be both of those integrated with a third episode which is not yet out, along with some unspecified changes.

I have played through about a dozen of the single player campaign missions now. Yet to try multiplayer. It feels a lot like a cross between Eternal card game and Hearthstone but I prefer it to both because it hits a tactical ‘sweet spot’ between them.
With Eternal, I felt that too many turns had too little action given the cost of attacking and having the defender pick which unit to block with. Attacking with, for example, a 7 attack 1 life unit would expose you to having that killed by a 1 attack 1 life unit, a much cheaper unit. Caveat I never got particularly ‘gud’ at this game but it often gave me games in which there was a long stand-off followed by a single big-bang when one player could finally break it.
With Hearthstone, my experience was one where it was tricky to get stuff on the board. Felt like there were lots of removals, rush units, tricks and one-turn gotchas. Again, I never got very skilled and this is probably a very crude perception.
With Mythguard, the little twist of having 7 lanes and having creatures block three of those, their own and one either side, feels like just enough difference for it to have its own special pace. The addition of laying down boons to specific lanes, such as things that result in extra card draws if the lane is occupied, is also a nice twist. Definitely gonna play more . . .

This reminds me of Atom Zombie Smasher.
From the developer of Absolute Drift.
Squad has left early access. It’s from the Battlefield 2 Project Reality mod team.

This looks like a Monster Train style card-battling deck-building rogue-lite, but maybe unfinished according to the reviews, missing story chapters and characters despite leaving early access.

A game about preventing a worst-case outcome of the Chernobyl disaster, based on actual events. Edit: the Liquidators news feed has some interesting commentary about how and why this was made.
Party-based, Groundhog Day-style rpg with roguelike elements in EA. Looks pretty sweet. No relation to “The Bonfire”
Pirate Quartermaster looks FASCINATING. Thanks!
Wizards and Warlords has reached 1.0, after years in development. I believe that @Sonoftgb was discussing it back in the fall of '18.
DasTactic seems to think it has a lot to offer and is quite deep.
