Stirring Abyss looks amazing. Are you streaming this one soon?
Getting a strong “terror from the deep” vibe (in a good way) from it!
Watched some gameplay last night and it looks really good.

Good to know. I got that from an article, IGN or maybe that other one that shows up on FB. Hey I might have to try it out. Playing a dog sled game led by what sounds like a disillusioned millennial wasn’t on my what to play 2020 Bingo card but hey, why not?
How about a still in-development game about surveilling squirrels? Is that a game that’s worth knowing about (probably)? If so, then it is appropriate for this thread!
Sorry, I’m watching the Indiecade awards and learning about a whole bunch of games I didn’t know about that are (probably) worth knowing about!
This is the new game in development by Sarah Northway, of Rebuild fame. There’s a demo.

Defender-like.
Stealth action, has a demo.
Hack’n’slash, has a demo.
Surreal rogue-lite 2D platformer. I loved the first game.
Gonner2 appeared on PC Gamepass today.

I found this game to look interesting. It’s another Mars colonization game (which seems to have been a rather popular sub genre the last couple of years) but it’s a bit different. Most/all of the prior games have been about building/managing a city/colony. This is different in that you are colonizing and terraforming the entire planet, including developing entire biosystems to terraform Mars. There also seems to be an exploration aspect to this game which others have not had. We’ll have to see if this turns into a “probably” game or not!
Terraformers looks real purdy.
“Thanks to NASA and ESA, who provide all their data free of charge, we’re using the latest and highest resolution maps of Mars. The elevation texture to generate the 3D effect we use is 11 GB, to give you an idea.”
More 3Xs please! Extermination is almost never the fun part of a strategy game.
Well strictly speaking you’re exterminating the planets native habitat. So technically it is a 4X game

There’s native habitat on Mars? Quick, call up NASA and let them know! :)

And that was when the Xenopolitics subforum was born, kids.
This has been out on switch for a while and I didn’t really get on with it. Not sure I got my head around how you are actually supposed to do well.

Early Access is now live! Game looked interesting way back when. Hope it’s good.
Straight into number one on the steam top seller chart
Thank you!!!
Update. Its ok. Not enough for me to make a thread though. The timers and jumping puzzles are a real buzzkill particularly as they lock the creative mode maps.
Shame. Some fun physics though but sadly the gameplay gets in the way of the fun, for me.
