Spellforce 3’s second stand-alone spinoff. The free Vs Ed multiplayer has 1v1 ranked, custom games up to 3v3, and AI skirmish. They said the main game will get a campaign rework with improvements from the expansions and an integrated client that supports all the content.

While the English translation is still a little rough, at least this latest update has been localized now:
I took the plunge on this one - and I really like it so far. It’s got a bit of Dark Souls in its DNA where you have to keep ferrying resources to dropboxes, and if you die, you have to do a corpse run to get it back. I haven’t died twice in a row yet, but I’d assume that would mean the loss of the corpse #1 contents.
Camping heals you to full but also causes all the enemies to respawn. There’s a pretty huge tech tree, and random perks on level-up that effect things like how many perks you get to choose from, HP, melee damage, XP gains, etc…you pick one every level.
No bugs found yet despite it being early access, although I saw some talk on the Steam forums about the level cap being 20 (which will take only a few hours to hit from what I’ve seen so far…) The devs say the cap will get raised with future patches.

Really like the graphical style and concept of Rekt, but I’d love to see it drop the neon in favor of more interesting and playful environments. Something like one of all time greats, Crash Drive 2

That reminds me, I have this one in my backlog.
I watched a little bit of a let’s play of Time to Stop Time on YouTube and it looks like a pretty janky but funny game. It’s as though you are quicksilver from the x-men movies. You stop time, run around and set up a bunch of deaths for the bad guys and save the good guys, and then you start time and let it all unfold. It looks like about like 10% more effort than an asset flip though.

Agreed there! The neon environments look so boring compared to the vehicles and physics. Tacopocalypse looks a lot more interesting in that regard, shame it’s local MP only. I watched the REKT trailers on silent and the editing was intricate but obnoxious as well.
Tacopocalypse reminded me of Zineth, which is from quite some years back now but is very cool.
Sakuna appears to be your typical 7-8 out of 10. There’s some repetitiveness and apparently the farming is pretty complicated if you’re not into that kind of thing. I’m wavering a bit at $40, but I feel like I need to play this after waiting for it for the last 3-4 years.

I’ve heard this is great, I’ll wishlist it! :-)
Edit: already wishlisted, haha. So many games.
Man, there are a lot of anthropomorphic animal games now.
I’ve been meaning to ask… how do these animal people make children? There’s like hundreds of species living together, how does that even work? Doesn’t that narrow down the dating pool? Asking for a friend.

Probably the same way it works in Bojack.
Just finished the Soul Harvest Campaign. Going to try some skirmishes, but I’ll definitely get the Fallen God Expansion when if goes down in price.
It was a lot of fun.
Out of Spellforce 3 I’ve only played a bit of Fallen God and liked it a LOT. It’s a surprisingly well-told and emotional story so far.
