While it didn’t grab me the way I’d hoped, the concept is great and I’m not at all surprised that you really liked it.
You guys covered it but I tried Terra Nil and decided it’s more of a puzzle game than an actual city builder; that took it down a few notches in my book.

I tried it as well and really liked it. The demo is short and pretty easy, and it’s fun figuring out what all the stuff does. And the transformation of the landscape from wasteland to wilderness is pretty awesome–great animations and charming graphics. I’m curious where it goes from there, but I wishlisted it.
I fiddled around with this demo a bit and quite enjoyed it:
Every building has four (or more) attributes that affect what it looks like and how effective it is. Some buildings lower or raise the attributes in area around them. Decorations can be placed to improve the attributes. Sort of a feng shui your way to victory.
I wanted to see what the “monster attack” thing looks like but haven’t triggered one.
Many tooltips and dialogs have not been translated, but you can still mostly figure everything out.
Ooooh, a demo for Lake! Thanks for mentioning it.
Indie first person action roguelike dungeon crawler.
Spy Hunter style 3D runner mobile port.
SNKRX, great simplistic indie game that combines lots of mechanics from different sources in a novel way without any bloat.
Arena action roguelike with auto chess synergies.
I made a thread for it:
Part of Apple Arcade, fyi

Yes! Great to see SNKRX getting mentioned here.
My friend wrote about it a month ago and for a couple of quid it’s a really interesting little action game, very tough and runs are short enough for quick sessions. It’s changed a lot even in the last week or two since I started playing it. Lots of quality of life improvements and other tweaks. Definitely worth checking out.
Heh, looks like fun. I’ll chuck it in with my next purchase on Steam.
Glad to hear there’s at least some progress with this.
Sounds interesting.
Thanks for the link.
Sounds really cool.
I have a weak spot for trading sin and sailing games…
Btw does Wildermyth count as an indie game?
I’ve heard rave reviews and now that it is out, I bought it, but have yet to play it at all.
Not sure, but it has its own thread here already:
More demos…
Sable - I started off thinking I’d not like this, but… you guessed it… it got to me! Maybe I’m going soft. Either way, I really dug the aesthetic, it fired a certain nostalgia for untextured rendering, and the flashes of color really pop. The whole thing just feels right, the hoverbike, the gliding, I enjoyed it and will play more when it’s released. I guess the only thing I didn’t care for was the stamina mechanic. Just seemed like a pointless annoyance when you’re running. It worked a bit better for climbing as a limitation for height.
Wartales - Yeah, this did not grab me at all. Maybe I just wasn’t in the mood for basic tactical battles, and I didn’t play long enough to see any depth.
Endlight - Holy crap, my eyes! I had absolutely zero idea how to play this game and it gave me a headache, what the shit is going on? Make it stop! Well, I did.
FRANZ FURY - Holy crap for a different reason, THIS ROCKS! @BrianRubin get in here and try this out. It’s a gloriously over the top, top-down car combat game (well, it’s mostly about oblitering nasty people who deserved to be run over or riddled with bullets), with ridiculously OTT sound effects that are so nuts they drown out the loud death metal soundtrack. Yep. Also, it’s deeply stupid. I love it.
Grime - I have no idea what the farkin’ fuck is going on with the intro to this, some kind of weird erotic body horror… (!?) but… well, then the game starts and… it’s deeply fucked up and weird, but it slowly starts to form into an actual game, and you realise it’s… really good! It seems to be some kind of bizarrely horrible 2D metroidvania, where you start off absorbing attacks to gain abilities, and the more traditional weapons (if you count a sword that fires broken-off fingers as a weapon). It’s just… I can’t even describe it, but I think I love it.

Oneiro looks cool but also like the kind of game that will be one penny before too long.
Very natural dialogue.
In fairness, the developers English is probably better than your (or mine) Serbo-Croation
My god that was amazing. It’s like they made it for me!
The (Probably) thread is a thread of dreams and endless possibilities.
Instead of trying these games, I should do what each of us already does and imagine my own version of what games with these descriptions should look like.
